During the 20-minute transfer from the Ou Main Line to the Akita Shinkansen, I hurriedly bought a bottle of Yamato Shizuku at a sake store in front of the station. Wrapped in newspaper, I was attracted by its secretive atmosphere. I was told this was to avoid light.
I returned home early today because of the snow, so I took it out of the refrigerator and opened it. When I removed the newspaper, I saw that it was a transparent, light-colored glass bottle. I see.
It is said to be a challenge to see if Yamada-Nishiki can be grown in Akita. This is a challenge, but it seems to be a great success.
It has a fruity taste like grapes.
It is a gorgeous sake, typical of Akita, and delicious.
