The contrast between the illustration of Suwa-musume and the edamame (green soybeans) was just right, so I bought the label. 🌾Rice from Hokkaido 🅰️14 degrees 🍶+5 Purchased at Seicomart Bikuni store. A Shakotan-only sake that was taken over by the Tanaka Brewery in Otaru after the Shirakata Brewery went out of business. It has a strong alcoholic taste after the rice flavor, but it is surprisingly refreshing. I think it goes well with Shakotan's specialty, unotan (sea urchin) and smoked fish, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I wonder if the clean aftertaste is a characteristic of Hiroshima sake. Perhaps that is why it goes well with strong dishes. I recommend drinking it on the rocks. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

🌾Rice from Shobara City 🅰️15 degrees Purchased at Avance. This is a cup of honjozo sake from Hanazake Sake Brewery in Shobara, one of the most famous rice-producing areas in Hiroshima. After opening the package, the sake has a strong, traditional sake aroma, but for some reason, it tastes just right when paired with the local Hiroshima greens. The power of local ingredients is amazing! ⭐️⭐️⭐️
