Drinking at home with a sake lover.
This is the second bottle of Tenpyo. Everyone said the freshly pressed sake was delicious, but I usually like this junmai ginjo too. I went out of my way to ask someone who was traveling in Kagoshima to buy it for me. I'll ask him again.
I bought this bottle because of the label. Since it is from Saga Prefecture, I hoped it would be fruity like Nabeshima. It is not fruity, but very easy to drink! This sake is brewed with a yeast called "flower yeast. It does not have a floral aroma, but it is a sake to drink in the spring when you are in love!
Drinking at home with sake lovers.
I drink only sake from the Tohoku region, so I was surprised to find such delicious sake in Kagoshima! We were all surprised to see such a delicious sake in Kagoshima. Tenpyo is good even by itself, but when it was freshly pressed, it was like an elegant champagne.
I received this bottle from a person in Aomori.
I fell in love with Toyobai after drinking it on a business trip to Aomori.
The Junmai sake is a bit drier than I expected. But it is full of the flavor of Toyobai rice. It's great for lunchtime drinking.
Sake from Hirado, Nagasaki.
Sake brewed with 25% polished sake rice, Nikomaru.
It is said that 25% was chosen in reference to "Nikomaru"!
It is very fresh, sweet, and delicious, but has a refreshing aftertaste. The alcohol content is also low, so I enjoyed it easily.
First time drinking Tenka.
This bottle was recommended to me by a liquor store in Kumamoto.
I am glad I trusted the liquor store! It was very tasty. Aroma like white peaches.
Kabashiko was released on February 24. It was just the day I was going back here from Kumamoto, so before going to the airport, I asked the Hana-no-Ko sake brewery to stop by and deliver it to me by cool delivery. I waited a long time!
It is the spiciest compared to Yamadanishiki and Hozu! But as the name suggests, the aroma is amazing. I heard that the real flavor comes after the second day, so I'll enjoy it tomorrow.
I went there with my sisters for lunch because there was a soba restaurant that my sister was interested in.
I wasn't planning to drink, but the soba mae looked so good that I ended up ordering some local sake.
It was delicious~!
The second bottle of sake, a family drink at my sister's house.
Following Sakurabana, another sake from Hana-no-Kou Shuzo.
Slightly spicier than the Yamadanishiki Sanshoku.
Fish that my brother-in-law prepared for me to enjoy with sake.
I am happy to be able to drink Hana-no-Ka sake with my family every day.
Sakurabana is gorgeous and really delicious!
A toast with Kumamoto sake at my parents' house in memory of my father.
Around my father who can only drink shochu, my daughters who can only drink sake.
It was the first time for me to drink Chiyono-en, but it was delicious.
My father passed away and we all had a mourning drink.
We chose Umehana from Hana-no-Kou. The Yamada-Nishiki from Wasui-cho, which is used in the already delicious Hananaka, was polished to 35%, resulting in a clear and tasty sake with no cloying taste! Delicious! A toast!
The restaurant I had just been at only accepted cash, and I was restless because I had so little money on me, so I went back to the ryokan.
I wanted to drink some more, so I had some Niiyu-chan, a locally brewed sake. I knew it would be delicious.
At a store near Tateyama station.
I had never seen it in Aomori. Hirosaki sake. It's very delicious, just like Toyobai sake. Ohiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!
Today I finished a big business trip of my own, so I was all alone.
I had some mansaku-chan, so I had some fresh sakura shrimps kakiage to go with it.
Crunchy, crunchy, and gobi-gubi!
Local sake and sushi on a business trip to Tateyama.
I thought it would taste classical, but it was so fruity and delicious that I drank three cups. Everything tastes better with sushi in Tateyama.
During my two-week business trip to Kagoshima, my sister came to visit from Kumamoto for the weekend and brought this bottle as a surprise for me. I am grateful.
This may be the first time I've had a fresh Sakurabana sake. It is similar to Sundo, but the feeling it leaves on the tongue is like Sakurabana. I think I like it better than Sundo ♡.
