Yamada Nishiki
Beautiful and tasty
Hozu
More acidic than Yamada, delicious
Kako
Shwashy, it comes on strong, and the aftertaste is a pleasant flavor of rice.
Fresh and tasty, with a bitter taste that enters the tongue with a cue, and later on, a bitter taste in the back. 70% polished rice with a high degree of alcohol content makes for a robust and delicious taste.
When I was in the Niseko area, I went to a local supermarket and found a box of this product that had been sitting there for a year and a half at half price because they were replacing it.
The top clear layer tastes rich and mellow like melon, and when mixed, the rice flavor comes to the fore, with sweetness, bitterness, and a bit of acidity in the back.
The taste is gentle on the palate with acidity and spiciness, but the spiciness doesn't bother me that much because I can feel the flavor well, it's delicious!
