This is it for today! Cheers at the usual place! The best of AKABU! AKABU has recently become available in Kansai. It seems they use Iwate's best sake rice called "Yunokou". This is the first time I have tasted this sake rice. It has a nice daiginjo aroma and a clean, crisp taste. Moreover, the owner opened a bottle that had been sitting for two years, which gave it a mellower taste. Delicious!

Yesterday, this! A bottle named after "Masakichi Hase", one of the Four Heavenly Kings of Noto! The aroma is not that assertive. It has a beautiful finish with just the right amount of sweetness and umami! It is said that this is one of the bottles that led to the name becoming a brand name. Amazing, isn't it! Thanks to the proprietor for letting me drink this!

This one today! Look at the label and know it was Toyama. It has a nice crisp aftertaste! It also has a pleasant umami taste when you drink it. This is a sake that is easy to drink, and I might finish a bottle in one night. Beautiful sake is always good! The olive green of the sake cup is also a nice touch! Good sake should be served with good sake cups.

Yesterday, this! The most beautiful sake ever! I was told that it is only served to regulars, but the owner kindly gave it to me. The feeling of it going down your throat beautifully is great. The aftertaste is also great. I was drowning in sweetness and flavor. It was a day when I was once again impressed by the high quality of sake.

This the other day! This is the first time. On this day, we went to our usual place to finish the year. Itakura Sake Brewery Festival! I didn't know there was such a sake in Shimane! As the name suggests, the theme of this sake is "Goshinshu". However, it didn't have the usual sake taste at all, and tasted beautiful! The aftertaste was also wonderful. This is one that I want to drink again! It's perfect for the end of the year.

This is it for today! I've finally opened it, number eighty-eight! I'm glad I faxed it in early. I didn't win SHIZUKU again this year. Kuroryu is one of my favorite brands. It has a different taste from "SHIZUKU". It has a nice aroma and is crisp, elegant and beautiful! If you drink it with a good sake cup, the taste is very special! This kind of sake is good to finish the work at the end of the year.

This one today! This is the best of the Ryu no Boshi! I compared it with the regular Dragon Bastard, but the aftertaste is still better. It has a little bit of acidity, but the flavor and sweetness are amazing. As you would expect from Jyushiyo, pairing it with good Japanese food is the best!

This one today! It's 100% sake rice called Ipponjime, and it's only available in Niigata Prefecture! There are many types of sake rice. I'm still learning. Ichibonsaku is said to be a dry sake with a great flavor. But it's not fair that such a delicious sake is limited to Niigata Prefecture. It's a delicious, refreshing sake that you won't get tired of drinking! It goes well with oden!

This one today! This is a luxurious bottle of Omachi polished to 50%! It's easy to drink, but has a nice umami taste that satisfies. It also has a strong aroma of Isojin. It has a great balance and is perfect with Japanese food!

This one today! Sake made from four different breweries! Usually Mitsuo Yamakawa, the label is always so cute. This year, the concept seems to be pairing with food, and this time it was sheep. The aroma isn't that strong, but the taste is a bit robust! I don't often get the chance to eat lamb, but I'd love to try it together. I feel like the concept of pairing is becoming more and more popular these days!

This is it for today! Katafune Ohatsu! A Niigata sake brewery that's been around since the end of the Edo period! This one won first place in the Junmai sake category, but I hear it's a brewery that's won awards around the world as well. It's been a while since I've had a good umami sake. But it's also a little sweet and has a fresh feel to it. I wonder if sweet sake is rare in Niigata. Yes, it's delicious.

This one today! The aroma is not bad, but the taste is rich as the label says. I hear this is a unique sake in the Tatenogawa range that can be enjoyed with water or on the rocks! But is it a sign of a drunkard that you want to drink this rich feeling straight? It goes perfectly with the kombujime sea bream that I made myself.

This one today! This is another unusual one. It's a collaboration with an American rock band, Foo Fighters. The label has Foo Fighters arranged in kanji style! This is the first time I've ever seen a sake with a rock band. I didn't know what it read when I first saw it. The aroma is good and the sweetness is just right. The taste is legit. There is a video of the brewing process on the internet, and the music is cool. It's also a novel approach.

This one today! Jr. at the supermarket! Part 2! The mouthfeel is incredibly mellow. The sweetness that comes later is just elegant! This is a really just delicious sake, just like the concept. This is one of those bottles that I want to keep drinking Jr. I want it to stay on the attack.

Today, this! This was a gift. Thank you to my friend for bringing me such a fine sake so easily! It says on the back to use a wine glass, so I used this as the sake cup! This sake cup is a Hakkaisan Sakemust glass for sake! When you drink it from a glass, the aroma is more pronounced than from a sake bottle! The taste is powerful. The acidity is just right. The acidity in Kuheiji is always pleasant.

Today! Kudokutake! This is one of the original sakes that got me into drinking sake. But this one doesn't have the usual smoldering aroma, and it's sharp. The spiciness that comes afterwards is also quite good. It was born during the Corona disaster. It is amazing that they continue to create new things even in this situation.
