With 3.11 in mind, I opened a bottle of my favorite Nanbu Bijin, thinking of Iwate, a place of precious memories. It was served in a wine glass, well chilled.
It was fruity and gorgeous, but not too sweet.
As expected of the world-class Nanbu Bijin✨.
Continuing with the sake that is typical of the year of the rabbit, we opened a bottle of the famous sake Ni Usagi from Aichi Prefecture.
At first I thought it might be sweet, but the balance is very good. I like it when the temperature is a little higher than when it is cold.
I see what you mean by "He who runs after two hares will catch them both.
It's the Year of the Rabbit, so I bought a caricature rabbit 🐇.
I know it was a complete jackpot, but it's pretty tasty!
I thought it would go well with Osechi, too...
I sipped it with a side of "Sea Urchin and Shellfish with Luxury Dressing", regretting that I should have opened the bottle during the New Year's holiday.
I was getting in a good mood and wanted to dance with the cute rabbits on the label (in other words, I was drunk 😂).
And stable 寫樂
Junmai Ginjo Ooragarami, one of the most popular
A precious gem that can only be enjoyed during the cold season (3 months of winter).
Gorgeous and fresh aroma, sourness and sweetness push together in a good way. I love it🫶I love it so much🫶.
Hope to come across it again during the winter...
And Hanazono's limited edition sake, "Ukebeki Dakame"!
It has a pleasant, slightly effervescent, shrizzy, and petit-pretty taste.
I'm so excited to think that this is the only time I can drink it!
The high alcohol content (19%) makes it very satisfying to drink!
Thanks for your comment, nabe! I'm glad to hear you're from Minamiaizu ✨Hanaizumi is delicious... I'm relieved to hear that Fukushima's sake is generally excellent with little to no betrayal 🍶.
When they say "only released once a year in early December," I just can't resist getting a bottle!
It seems to have all the good points of Hakkaizan in it.
It's easy to drink and refreshing even though it's a pure sake - I have to be careful because the alcohol content is high. ⚠️
I'm looking forward to drinking it again tomorrow!
<I'm looking forward to drinking it tomorrow and after that.
I still prefer it the next day!
It seems to be more rounded. It's mellower and easier to drink - a little sweeter!
Last but not least, the stable Yukino Kayasha!
Easy to drink, changing the image of Yamahai
Very mild and easy to drink!
It is more suitable for everyday drinking than for special occasions!
I might be new to this brand...
Well... to be honest, it didn't leave much of an impression 🤔.
Not a good idea to drink it after the wonderful Tenbi...
Sake made by Miki Fujioka whom I met in Kagawa.
Very fresh aroma!
It is sweet yet refreshing, with a slight bitterness that is typical of sake, but it is well-balanced.
This time I paired it with fatty yellowtail, but I think it would also go well with cheeses that have a bit of a smell. I would definitely like to buy a bottle of this and enjoy the changes slowly at home.
Hakkaisan has a wide variety of sake, but today I'm going to try a Junmai Ginjo 55%.
I served it cold at first, then lukewarm.
It's refreshingly soft and easy to drink!
Thanks for your comment, Ponchan! (Sorry it took me so long to notice 💦)
CEL24...the taste changed a bit after opening the bottle, but it was delicious all the way through ✨Please give it a try!
Koshino-Kanbai, back to its roots
A familiar sake that has always been in my house since I was a child.
It has a crisp and stable appearance.
It is a low-assertiveness type of sake that goes well with a variety of dishes.
It's Christmas, so it's a schwag 🫶.
I met this kijoshu at Hasegawa Sake Brewery in Tokyo Station, where I've always been a customer.
The label was Christmasy and I knew it would be Christmas Eve ✨.
It's sweet but not too strong!
The size was perfect and I finished it in no time...
