I went to a shopping mall to do some shopping. We wandered around Cardi's. Sake. Ice sake?　I thought it would be good when it gets hotter. I tossed it in the back of the basket. I had it waiting in the freezer, but I didn't realize how quickly it would crisp up. It was hot, so I decided to finish it off with a dessert. Adult sherbet Naoshichi is a brand of citrus fruit from Kochi. It's good to have in the freezer from now on. ⭕️ The manufacturer is Kikusui Sake Brewery. No, it's from Kochi, so it's from here.

Tasted here also at Hankyu Department Store. Junmai Ginjo-shu made with Kuzuryu. It is a refreshingly dry sake, but has a sweet and fruity taste. This time I bought a bottle of unfiltered raw sake made with Jinryoku.

Tasted at Umeda Hankyu Department Store. The rice was said to be Gohyakumangoku. The quality of the sake is clean and refreshing for hiyaoroshi. It is easy to drink without a sense of maturity. As the person in charge said, it is a quiet type of sake, so I think it is suitable for a mealtime drink.

It looks like all of them use locally grown rice, as did the two types of Kitanosho I posted the other day. It seems that only Ryu-ryoku and Koko use Jinryoku all the time. I'm sure there are other places like Okura that use it for single use. When I tasted it, my impression was that it was quite sweet and the second half was heavy, but it was smoky and the flavor of the rice came through with a bang. It has a strong bitterness at the end. It is not the type of sake I would drink on its own, so I will have to wait and see. I don't think it should be chilled too much. If you like Shimane or Tottori area sake, this would be good for you. I think it has a quality of sake that would not be affected by letting it sit for a while. There are glimpses of sweetness and a fruity atmosphere, but I wonder if it's basically more of a classic. Is it a multi-faceted, multi-personality sake?

Original Sake by Kishinami Brewery Darubish! Or rather, Tarubish! It's a pretty good name! It was the last bottle. Unfortunately, I can't believe they are closing at the end of next month 😭 Just like the name, the cedar barrel(?) The aroma of cedar barrels(?) is amazing! Not my favorite... After that, we had today's main dish, fish dinner! So the first drink of our first visit to Maeda-Ya was a fluffy sake from Shodoshima Sake Brewery, also a new brewery to us! According to the waitress, it is a slightly peculiar sake! So let's have it right away! First, the aroma. Not much of an aroma! In the mouth, you can feel the richness, bitterness, and spiciness from the soft and gentle mouthfeel, just like the name of the sake. However, since everything is gentle, there is no unpleasant feeling, and there is a good impression of umami with a complex flavor. Personally, I didn't feel any peculiarities, and it was an excellent sake to be paired with a meal.
