Happy New Year! After making Zoni, I finally had my first drink. I started the year with Kaneizumi, which I received from a friend the day before yesterday. Shimane Local Sake Fair Osaka ③. Ichinomiya Sake Brewery of Iwami Ginzan and Rika. I had bought Yukika at Hanshin Department Store in Amagasaki in the past. I found out that it was Mr. Rika, the toji (master brewer), who was standing in the store at that time😅. I tasted the following Iwami Ginzan Special Junmai Hiyoshi Oroshi Rika Junmai Ginjo Kaihatanryu Ichitunya TANE Nama-zake Yukika Sparkling None of them left much of an impression on me, but I thought the Yukika was as tasty as ever. It was sweet and strong, like a strong calpis soda. I would like to try it again because Sugidama-san in Kyoto sells Iwami Ginzan.

Yahiko Sake Brewery in Yahiko Village, Niigata Prefecture. The main brand was "Echino Hakusetsu," but it appears that "Yahiko" will be the main brand from now on. This Junmai Ginjo is also made from Yamadanishiki produced in Yahiko Village, and is a good sake, not fruity, but calm and soft. Yahiko Village is where my mother is from, and I spent a lot of time there as a child when I was sent to my mother's home, so it is like a second home to me. Yahiko Shrine, the first shrine in Echigo, is located there.

Purchased at the HYOGO SAKE EXPO. The aroma is of aged aroma like Shaoxing wine. The hint of gunpowder-like aroma. I think it is clean and easy to drink for an aged wine.
