I recently received this as a Father's Day commemoration from my daughter and her husband. It is a junmai ginjo brewed by Kenkunichi using "Sake Mirai" sake rice developed by Takagi Shuzo. Junmai Ginjo brewed by Kenkunichi The aroma is subdued, with a fruity image of lychee and green apples. In the mouth, the flavor of rice spreads gently and smoothly. It ends with a slight bitterness and a long lingering aftertaste. It is a delicious sake that is typical of Kenkunichi, which brews sake with the individuality of the rice used to make it.

Aikoku" sake rice from the Meiji era, grown by contract farmers in the local Murata-machi area, has been reprinted. Kenkunichi has the image of a sake brewery that values the flavor or depth of the rice. This sake also has the distinctive characteristics of carefully brewed sake rice. I tried it at room temperature to lukewarm, and I felt the depth and breadth of flavor at each temperature range. Early summer greenery and fresh breeze... We enjoyed it while remembering the thoughts of our predecessors, going back to the Showa period and even to the Meiji period.

At Echigoya in Fukushima City There were three Hanamup labels on display. I got this one, "Omachi". It has a mildly sweet aroma on the nose. When you put it in your mouth, the soft umami expands and you feel the sweetness like ripe white grapes. It has a fresh nuance that cuts through the throat.... Sake-no-wa: As you can see from everyone's evaluation, this is an excellent sake.
