We visited the brewery the other day and opened a bottle 🎉. Here it is! A "good looking old man's sake"! It smells and tastes like a strong sake until you put it in your mouth! The smell and flavor hit you right away until you put it in your mouth, but the moment you swallow it down, it just goes down so smoothly and deliciously! It makes you want a strong dish to go with it 😋. By the way 🍶. I also had a raw chocolate made with Shikishima's Junmai Daiginjo Unfiltered Nama Sake! It was so good I ate it right up 🤤. I was so worried about this one that I thought "I want to try something I haven't had yet..." but when I looked at the Sake-no-wa app later, I saw that I had tasted it just the other day at the Marche 🙂 ... I'd like to drink it while enjoying the changes 😋.

Happy New Year everyone! I look forward to working with you again this year ✨ My personal goal is to drink and meet a lot of people this year 💪. The second half of this New Year's Day will be spent in the Kanto area for live performances, Disney Sea, and sightseeing in Tokyo ✨. After the concert, I popped into an izakaya I liked around the hotel and had a drink with dinner 🍶. It had a strong taste, but it was not unpleasant, and the aftertaste was clean and easy to drink 😋. I wanted to drink something else, but when I looked at the menu, I realized that all the other drinks were made by Aruzoe. I decided it would affect my health the next day, so I had another glass of the same thing and that was it. I remembered that one of the girls in the group that I was in love with had mentioned that she had bought a bottle of Kagatobi as a souvenir at the Kanazawa concert last year, so it was just as well.

The last one of the year! This time last year, my sake life started with this sake, Tetorigawa Winter Junmai. It's delicious, the kind of sake where the flavor comes in softly and then quickly wears off, and is easy to enjoy. A four-pack bottle of this sake costs about 1,500 yen. The best in terms of cost performance. I applaud it! Well, this year has been one in which I feel like I've traveled all over the country, drinking and drinking, being addicted to sake. Next year, I hope to continue to meet many different kinds of sake, in moderation! I wish you all a happy new year 🍶✨.

Yesterday, I went to a liquor store I've never met before and picked up a bottle ✨. Stable smell of Shikishima 😋! The taste is chili, a little sour, umami, and goes down smoothly. It's delicious 🤤. I want to grow and drink it slowly and carefully 🍶. By the way, a small story 🍶. I saw on Instagram that the brewery sold out the day after I heard they started selling it, so I went to the liquor store I wanted to go to anyway. The owner? He was kind, polite and very nice. ☺️

Off-drink bring-your-own alcohol, Part 4! From a resident of Ishikawa Prefecture who likes Tetorigawa too much. It's so good. The Kaleidoscope (also given to me by the same person) I drank before the summer was aged for 3 years, and this is the pre-aged one. I think people will have different tastes from Kaleidoscope. My first impression was that I liked Kaleidoscope. Tedorigawa Lover said this one tastes better. Is it easier to get than Kaleidoscope? Still, I imagine it would be difficult to get it even for residents of the prefecture unless you aim to get it. Thank goodness! It was delicious 😋. Just a little story here 🍶. I didn't take any more pictures after this! () I was drinking because I had time to take pictures later anyway, but I was feeling so good that I didn't have time to do so 🫡.

Here's another one that was brought to me offline 👏. I forgot to take a picture so I borrowed the one I got beforehand: 🙏🏼 It was insanely delicious! The beautiful alcohol! It's so easy to drink, sweet and sharp, I can't wait to drink it again 😋. By the way 🍶. This bottle was opened at noon. We were told that it was heavy to hold a bottle of sake, so we decided to reduce the amount of sake in the bottle 🍶. When you drink it with Masu, you feel like you drank a lot of sake. 💁‍♀️

I have too few photos left, so I'll start with the ones I do have. Sake brought by Kanazawa residents at yesterday's gamer drinking party. Oeyama brewed by Shikishima, my hometown. The one they brought because they got it as a return gift from a Kurafan. This was the last time I drank it, so to tell you the truth, I've already forgotten what it tasted like (see below). I remember drinking it and thinking how easy it was to drink and how I couldn't stop, so I guess it was good. By the way 🍶. I drank too much yesterday and was groggy all day today. I haven't counted, but from morning to night I drank a total of at least 5 cups of sake. I was going to go sightseeing for the day, but I didn't feel like eating anything, so I came back early 🫠.

One drink to start the year-end party by gamer drinkers 🍶. So we're doing it on the move first thing in the morning 🍶. I've been wanting to try this one for a long time! My traveling companion brought it with her, so I opened the bottle 🎉. What is this? It's sweet and delicious even at room temperature. It's a dangerous drink that goes down easy 😋. This is a must buy, I want to drink it slowly at home. By the way, a small story. I took the "Kintetsu Limited Express Hinotori" from Nagoya to Osaka for the first time. It was a great train, and for the usual fare + express fare + premium seat fee (900 yen), you can travel in a comfortable seat with unlimited reclining space. It was too good to hear the sound of the train departing and pshu-pshu everywhere 😁.

One that I picked up with me when I went to buy a bottle of sky the other day after hearing about its arrival 🍶. Silver and gold followed, but I guess this is the first one: 🙌🏼 Make sure you cool it down. I drank it and felt like, what is it? Houraisen? and In a good sense, the character is suppressed and it is very easy to drink! And yet, it has the aftertaste of a Japanese sake! (Personally, I call this sensation "old man's sake"), but it is a wonder that it goes down smoothly. Don't underestimate it just because it costs around 1,300 yen! This is delicious! Postscript✍(11/29) I finished it. It has a lingering aftertaste of Houraisen for about a week after opening the bottle. It tastes delicious. It tastes like beautiful water. 2 weeks after opening the bottle, it has a sake-like taste. Personally, I felt it was ready to drink around 1 week after opening the bottle. By the way 🍶, a short story. I'm meeting up with my sake master and friend Osan (with all due respect) and his merry band of friends the week after next ✨. I'm looking forward to it because the majority of the members I haven't seen in a year. More than anything, I'm even more looking forward to drinking and having a good time. Bring a full load of sky 🥳.

One I purchased at a recent Marche I went to! Did it just go on sale? They made a lot of them, so you don't have to rush to buy it, there are still some left! but I was determined to buy this one 😋. I had it at room temperature when I tasted it at the Marche, but this time it was well chilled. The flavor changed drastically when it was chilled! It's milder on the tongue and much easier to drink. I like this one better: ☺️ Postscript ✍. The sake-like (old man) feeling increases rather soon after the bottle is opened. I personally like it best the day I open the bottle.

The only ones in the tasting area that I had never had before were Houou and Koukou, so I tasted them together ✨. This one was well chilled! I thought it was delicious, but I thought I might like the Houou one. I thought it was good but I thought I might like Houou better! Go to the Sake Brewery Marché! I went there because I wanted to buy this sake with a nice label, but there was a paid tasting corner in the event, so I got it 😋. Tasted at room temperature! A little bit peculiar but very Shikishima ✨! I thought ✨ I was drinking it while being interviewed by a local TV station, so I was a bit uncomfortable and the taste was a bit blurry... I bought it, so I'll chill it and enjoy it slowly 💪.

Autumn Sake Festival @ Nagoya Hisaya Odori Park 3rd drink Bittersweet but basically fruity, I cried because Momogenkyo, which I wanted to try just because of its name, was sold out at the July Sake Festival, but this time it had a harsher name () & was still available, so I chose it. I was so relieved to find that it was the sake I had imagined at Momogenkyo. Just a small story here 🍶. Hokkaido product exhibition at Matsuzakaya next to the sake festival venue I had a crab cream croquette to go with my sake 😋. I bit into a handful and enjoyed it while the cream was melting in my mouth 🤤.

Autumn Sake Festival in Nagoya Hisaya Odori Park (2) Cups ...It was white as if it was slightly cloudy. Sourness or appleiness, with a bit of bitterness chasing after it. Delicious. It's stable because it's a taste of my hometown and I'm used to drinking Shikishima ✨I've been pushing for it at the photo spot: ☺️ The whole event was crowded and the staff seemed to be having a hard time, but only the Ito staff was very polite and told me, "We have two KTs at the other breweries, so be sure to compare!" I was very grateful to the staff in Ito who told me that there are two KTs in other breweries and I should compare the two! I later compared the pictures and found out that the staff member was also an instagrammer of Shikishima (I was also following them), but I didn't notice it 🫠. The result of the comparison of the first 3 KTs →Balance! A good amount of sake. Umami. Excellent 👏. Just a small story here 🍶. My husband, who is not a drinker, joined the party as a driver on the way home. We went to the Hokkaido product exhibition at Matsuzakaya right next to the sake festival venue, so after the first drink, we went to the exhibition to buy a seafood bento for lunch for the husband and croquettes for me to go with my sake ✨. I got a little bit of seafood and ate it and it was so good I was blown away 🤤...
