This is one of the "unique local sakes" selected by a liquor store in Shirakawa, Fukushima. The name "Gomangoku" is similar to the name of sake rice, but it was named after the Miharu domain in Oshu, which was once known for its Gomangoku rice! The first sip has a subdued aroma with a good balance of acidity, sweetness, and umami, and the taste continues to the end and is easily cut off. I thought this kind of sake would be loved for a long time to come. The simple purple and gold label is also very nice. ❣️

I got it on a trip to Nasu🍶 This is the first time I have had Asahi Sakae. Fruity aroma of muscat, slight greenness in the gentle sweetness and acidity, clear throat and sharpness. It is refreshing but has a strong alcohol taste. I will enjoy it with a little fatty sashimi👍🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟.

The spoils of a bullet train trip to Niigata💪. It has been a long time since I have had a sake that is not often seen in Tokyo. It has a gentle pear-like aroma, a delicious rice flavor, and a crisp acidity with a slight bitterness to finish it off. I hope to visit the breweries on Sado Island someday🐾.

On September 11, when it was still hot, I found a bottle of Tambo Label, which I had not drunk this summer, and had it with me. As expected, it has the delicious flavor of jungin, but is refreshingly light and dry, easy to drink, and perfect for the first drink! I also like the simple, cute series of labels... ♪

It has been a long time since I have had this famous Fukui sake. It has a modest ginjo aroma, mild fruitiness and acidity, followed by the umami of Gohyakumangoku that gradually expands, and a refreshing taste that goes down the throat. One sip convinced me that this is the sake that has been loved for many years. I would like to visit Eiheiji.

With the heat wave still continuing, I wanted to feel autumn, so I went to a restaurant and ordered this year's first chilled sake, "chilled oroshi. I ordered it on my first date with my husband 100 years ago, and he made fun of me saying, "You can read Tobi! It has been a special brand in our house since then 😅. It has a soft ginjo aroma, a gentle and fluffy rice flavor that spreads in the mouth, a gorgeous and beautiful sharpness, and a stable taste. We enjoyed it with bonito tataki. 🙇‍♀️

While the house was overflowing with sake from Tochigi and Fukushima, I decided to go to Niigata in a hurry, →As a result, we bought a lot of famous sake from Niigata. I met "Abe" at Nishikiya Sake Brewery in front of the station and was so impressed by the first sip that I immediately bought several bottles with different specifications😍. It has a soft lactic acid aroma and taste that is completely different from the so-called "light and dry" style of Niigata, a perfect balance of gentle sweetness and acidity, and an aftertaste that cuts right through. The 11% alcohol content makes it easy to keep drinking, and on the contrary, really dangerous. ☢️ Each lot tastes a little different, and I'm looking forward to the next one. ❣️

Hi Yuki 😃 I would love to visit your house full of Tochigi and Fukushima sake 😄I think it's a great idea to buy more than one Abe-chan🖤 in Niigata while you are there 🤗.

Thank you for your comments, Jay & Nobby! I knew the name "Abe" from your posts on Sake-no-wa, but I was shocked when I tried it for the first time: ❣️ I have an overabundance of stock at home and can't keep up with consumption 💦 state😅.

I have not posted for a while due to various reasons, but of course I have been drinking during that time, I'm going to go back to the most recent and slowly organize my notes💦. I visited the brewery of "Nozomu", a famous Tochigi sake. I bought it on the recommendation of the owner of the liquor store where I always work. It has a gentle muscat-like ginjo aroma, soft sweetness, and a slight bitterness on top of the fullness of the rice, with a refreshing aftertaste. It is well-balanced and very beautifully finished, and you will never get tired of drinking it. I've seen a lot of Senbon-Nishiki recently, and it is delicious. ‼︎

This is a tasteful brewery in Shirakawa, Fukushima Prefecture, which we learned about through "Gakki Masamune". Unfortunately, there was no "Gakki Masamune" when I visited the brewery last year during a torrential downpour, but I got a bottle of "Shizenogo BIO" instead, which was so delicious that I bought another spec this year. This sake is made with Fukushima yeast, sake rice, and no pesticides. It has a perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and umami aroma, and even though it is unfiltered and unpasteurized, it is refreshing and clear from beginning to end, but not too light. It is a "beautiful" junmai ginjo that goes well with any meal. Repeat confirmed: ❣️

Looking back on the summer vacation. On the way back from Aizu, we also got some recommended Fukushima sake at "Iseya Kimishima Shoten" in Shirakawa City. Another summer of buying is over. For a while, drinking at home will be a back-and-forth slap between Tochigi and Fukushima, and if I get hit on the right cheek, I will thankfully offer my left cheek. First of all, let's start with the appearance. I have always loved it, but this is my first time to try the Kyokyu. As soon as you taste the fruity aroma, the delicious flavor of Omachi and the gentle sweetness, it cuts through the throat surprisingly quickly. It is a summer sake that is not light, but rather deliciously sharp! I've become a fan of the figure again. ❣️

When you have time in Nasu, expedition to Aizu: 🏞️ At the brewery, we were served a rare aluzome spec for the Miyazumi/Sharaku brand. It has an elegant ginjo aroma, and while it retains the fruity character of Miyazumi, the overall taste is clean and well-balanced, making it a versatile wine that goes well with any meal. I felt it had the advantages of Aruzoe. I regret that I should have bought more, but I will come back again. ‼︎

This elegant warehouse was used in the scene where Takao Osawa makes penicillin in the TV drama "Jin. I have been a big fan of this brewery ever since I visited there a long time ago and was politely guided inside. I hope your father is well. As the name suggests, it is a sharp Jungin Unfiltered Nama. It has an aroma of green apple, a mild bitterness, and the deliciousness of Gohyakumangoku, and it finishes well. The fruity image of Wakakoma is betrayed in a good way. It was immediately consumed with pickles, tofu, and yakitori (grilled chicken). ❣️

Purchased at Tsukii Shoten, which is always a great place to visit in Nasu. It is a regular summer event to buy all kinds of Tochigi sake here. The first one is a special junmai made with comet, unfiltered and hi-iru. It has a mild green apple acidity followed by a light fruity taste with moderate sweetness and good sharpness. It is a refreshingly light and crisp sake. Cool it down and it will be ready to drink in no time at all.

I am of an age where the Yamato of my youth reminds me of Farewell Space Battleship Yamato, and I was attracted to this bottle because of the spacey color of the bottle. I was attracted by the spacey color of the bottle and bought it. The sparkling wine has a nice cloudy feeling right after opening the bottle, and the blue taste precedes the sweet taste. It is a dry sparkling wine that is sharp and easy to drink.

I found Penguin, which is found in only 8% of shipments, next to Shirakuma and bought a bottle! The aroma is subdued, and the slight jungin sensation is immediately drowned out by the spiciness (bitterness) and cut off until the end. It is a refreshingly dry summer sake with zero fruitiness, almost like a honjozo.

Continuation of the closing crane meeting 5) The last sake of the meeting was Honjozo THE light and dry! It is even more sharp and smooth than the "Jun" and has a crisp and tight finish. It is definitely delicious cold or warmed, has a nice retro label, and is super easy on the wallet! I personally think it is my favorite out of the five types I have had. When I mentioned this to the brewer, he said, "We make this sake for the locals to drink every day and love it. I am not from Niigata, but I love it!

Continuation of the closing crane meeting 4) Daiginjo Chan 38% polished rice with special grade Yamadanishiki from Hyogo Prefecture. According to the brewer, "I highly recommend it to women." It is a limited-quantity product matured at low temperature for a long time. It has a smooth and smooth taste, a beautiful sweetness from Yamadanishiki, and a sharp aftertaste that only a Daiginjo can offer. It is a very elegant and beautiful sake to be savored slowly!

I attended the closing crane meeting! (3) Namacho, a limited summer edition. We had it chilled to a crisp. After the citrus acidity is felt on the tongue and down the throat, a refreshing sweetness comes, and it finishes with a crisp finish. It is a dangerous sake that can be drunk in a refreshing gulp.

I attended the closing crane meeting! ② Junmai Ginjo Yamadanishiki If you think you don't see it very often, it is sold only on a monthly order basis. This one is also labeled Junmai Ginjo, with 50% polished rice and Yamadanishiki only from Hyogo Prefecture. It has a soft and elegant umami of rice and a clean aftertaste with a strong sense of sweetness.

I attended the closing crane meeting! 1) Royal Road Jun! It has been on sale for more than 50 years! We compared the teppan (iron plate) middle-class sake that is often served at Japanese restaurants at 10°C and 19°C. The temperatures were 10°C and 19°C, respectively. As the temperature rises, the soft sweetness increases and it goes from light and dry to light and umakuchi.
