I bought this simple labeled sake because I was curious. When warmed up, it has a robust lactic acid aroma, a gentle sweetness, and a full, rich umami. It has a nice lingering aftertaste that seems to soak in. At room temperature, it has a slightly sweet and sour rice aroma with a banana-like flavor. The juicy umami comes as a surprise as it rises from the mild sweetness. I thought it would be good warmed up, but it may be good in various ways.

This is one of the "unique local sakes" selected by a liquor store in Shirakawa, Fukushima. The name "Gomangoku" is similar to the name of sake rice, but it was named after the Miharu domain in Oshu, which was once known for its Gomangoku rice! The first sip has a subdued aroma with a good balance of acidity, sweetness, and umami, and the taste continues to the end and is easily cut off. I thought this kind of sake would be loved for a long time to come. The simple purple and gold label is also very nice. ❣️

I had this at the Miharu Sake Brewery's sake tasting at the AEON liquor store booth. The lady at the Miharu Sake Brewery recommended three kinds of sake, and I bought this one. Definitely fruity. Some commented that it was pear, but to me it was more banana-like. It is sweet because it is a pure sake. Seems to go well with weekend Saturdays, lol.

Takumichi Sutani
It is clear with greenish tints and has aromas of yogurt, cooked rice, pear, and honeysuckle. The attack is rather strong, with a refreshing acidity, a mild sweetness, and a rather long finish.

♪♪♪♪♪ This is actually the first sake I've ever seen. It was one of the bottles that I was torn between at the liquor store and Koei Kiku (for budget reasons)! I chose the Miharu Gomangoku... ← Normally you would choose the Koei-Kiku, right? Great answer! This is so delicious! Fruity mouthfeel but refreshing at the end! Ahhh! Delicious! It's a winner! It's a wonder that not many people know about it. It's so delicious! ←I haven't been this impressed since Goho! By the way, the rice used for sake is "Gohyakumangoku". This is something I will repeat! Or rather, I want to repeat it!

The last sake of the evening, Miharu Gomangoku! We have had this sake in the past, both as a pure sake and as a hi-ire sake. It's a special junmai, but the fruity flavor comes out well!
