I was pushed to buy this sake at a certain liquor store for drinking at the beginning of the New Year. I had high expectations for this sake because it is made by the same brewery that makes Otokoyama, but to be honest, I was disappointed. It had a good taste, but for someone like me who likes it dry and light, it had a strong alcoholic smell and a harsh aftertaste. The store staff said it was made in wine barrels, but I was disappointed to find that it was made in a normal sake cellar. I thought that sake made in a regular brewery would be better.
