We discovered Okushiri, the first locally brewed sake from a remote island in Hokkaido. It used to be available only in the local area, but due to the Corona disaster, local consumption has decreased and it is now available in Sapporo.
I was lucky to be able to drink it, but I could not be happy because I felt the industry was in a difficult situation...
It has a rich fruitiness, but the aftertaste is so refreshing!
This is the kind of wine you could drink at a pub and be drunk before you know it...
And the label is cool.
