This sake was also purchased at Kuriyama Shoten in Saga. Higashitsuru Sake Brewery is a popular local brewery with a long history. I was nervous when I opened it, thinking that it might be too sweet for me since it is a "ogara-mi" sake and also from Saga. However, I found it to be a very good sake, like a fine rum, and I would recommend it even to those who like dry sake. Thanks to this sake, I have been drinking a lot of ogara-mi this winter (laugh).

Purchased with New Moon at Kuriyama Shoten where I stopped during my trip to Saga. It is a very refreshing and clean sake, without the type of sweetness and slight fizziness that I felt with New Moon. I drank it over a few days, but the impression was not so different from when I opened my mouth, and I think those who want to enjoy the change would enjoy New Moon more. Both sakes were very good, and I was convinced of Nabeshima's high reputation.

I bought it at a direct store on the approach to Ojin Shrine and opened it on New Year's Eve. I thought it might be sweeter than I like. I imagined it would be sweeter than my taste, but it was refreshingly elegant and delicious! It was a very well-made first shibori. I bought two more bottles on New Year's Day, including one as a souvenir, because I went to visit Ojin Shrine on New Year's Day (lol).

Purchased at Taguri Sake Shop in Saga Prefecture. At first glance, this liquor store in town looks like something you might miss, but it stocks only good local sake. And you can feel the love the store owner has for sake. This Nabeshima has a full-on sweetness right after opening the mouth, but on the second day, it seems to have changed to a more subdued sweetness, perhaps due to exposure to air. It might be good to leave it for a while and drink it slowly.

My favorite sake brewery these days. Light nigori with a pleasantly moderate sweetness. It was a perfect match with squid and radish.

I posted this after I finished drinking it. It was almost a jackpot purchase, but it was a very nice sake. It is said to be super dry, but you can taste the umami of the rice. I think it is better not to cool it down too much.

It is 13% alcohol, slightly sparkling, sweet and sour and charming. We visited Yoshida Sake Brewery last July and were politely greeted by the chairman and his wife. There is also a swallow's nest, and I wonder if the picture on this label is of the swallows that come every year.

It's a jackpot purchase. It is a popular sake brewery these days. 100% Omachi, 50% polished rice, Yamagata yeast used. The first sip was sweet. I knew it was a good sake, but maybe not to my taste. However, on the third day after the bottle was opened, I paired it with simmered flounder and it was a perfect match! I almost drank it all at once (laugh).

This is delicious!!! Not too sweet, not too spicy, with just the right amount of acidity. It is also cosmetically pleasing. The sake brewery in Saitama has a high level of quality. Alcohol 15%, Polishing ratio 50%.

Purchased after a tasting at Imanishi Seibei Shoten in Nara City in October 2021. The women who work at the brewery seem to be full of love for Harushika (and sake lol), which makes them very likable. I've always loved Harushika's sake, but now I love it even more. I haven't written about my impressions of the sake yet, have I? It's delicious, with a strong sense of rice flavor.

As it is named "Karakuchi", it was really dry ^^; Alcohol 16 degrees, Polishing ratio 55%. If it's the same dry taste, I think I prefer Harushika's Onizan. Maybe it's better not to cool it too much.

When I put it in my mouth, I thought 'Huh? Wasn't Kamikimoto this kind of sake? I thought. Fruity? Sweet? Is it because it's unfiltered undiluted sake? I didn't know what to expect, but I kept going, and before I knew it, I had drunk it all. The rice is polished to Yamada Nishiki, and the rice used for the sake is Shiratama from Hyogo Prefecture, but it's not mentioned on the label. I think I'll try it again next year.

Floral, rummine-like aroma. It is sweet and sour in the mouth. It is also thick like a traditional sake. There may be different likes and dislikes. You can choose the food to pair it with.

Very easy to drink, pleasant on the palate, fruity but not too sweet. I didn't find it to have any special character, but it's a sake that makes me want to try it again.

Slight foaming. Good balance of sourness and sweetness. It was a success when I paired it with stewed beef and radish by chance, but it might not be good with sashimi. It might not be good with sashimi.

This sake was brewed as a sake for home drinking after stay-home due to Corona. The rice used is Omachi. It has a citrusy flavor and is a good sake that goes well with both Japanese and Western food.

Purchased in January 2021. I was blessed with the opportunity to finally pull the bottle out. It's still got that squishy feeling that is typical of Kaze no Mori. However, it is a little sweet for me. Even on the second day after uncorking, I couldn't feel the difference that much. It's delicious, but it might be a good choice for different occasions.
