This sake was also purchased at Kuriyama Shoten in Saga. Higashitsuru Sake Brewery is a popular local brewery with a long history.
I was nervous when I opened it, thinking that it might be too sweet for me since it is a "ogara-mi" sake and also from Saga. However, I found it to be a very good sake, like a fine rum, and I would recommend it even to those who like dry sake.
Thanks to this sake, I have been drinking a lot of ogara-mi this winter (laugh).
