As the label says, "Aiming to be the best food sake in Japan," this sake is not too assertive and goes well with a variety of dishes. It also goes well with sautéed dishes with butter.
At first in the mouth, it seems tame, but as it progresses a bit further, I notice a melon-like aroma and a splash of alcohol. But as it progresses a bit further, the melon-like aroma and the alcohol are noticeable.
It is "PLUS 9" because it has a sake strength of +9. As the label says as the sake brewer's characteristic, it has a lingering taste despite its dryness.
