Fresh and slightly floral. Freshly pressed rice aroma with a hint of banana and melon.
When chilled, it is crisp, but has a firm body due to the 17% alcohol content.
I visited and purchased on a trip to Fukuoka.
Very beautiful sales office and they have weddings and seasonal events.
We received 6 coins for free for tasting,
Almost free? It's almost free 😂.
They use F44 yeast and Fukuoka's sake rice,
Yume Ichikyo and Yamadanishiki, Fukuoka's sake rice.
It is a mellow, dry sake, and since it is summer, I had it cold, but I think it would also be good warmed.
This is a first for me even though it is a local sake. My gra wife attended an event at the brewery and bought it for me as a souvenir. It has a sweet and sour aroma. It is basically dry, but the sweetness with just the right amount of rice flavor is delicious.
Good evening 😆I've been going through this for a long time even though I'm also from my home prefecture😅I thought I'd give it a try after reading your review!
Exploring Hakata on a weekend during my training in Kyushu: 🚶♂️
I went to Kushida Shrine ❗I have a friend who collects red seals! My dirt has all gone away 😏.
I went to LaLaport Fukuoka and had a lunchtime drink as they were having a Fukuoka sake tasting 🍶I'm glad it went surprisingly well 😊This is the first sake I've ever seen ❗
The fresh taste of freshly squeezed sake is great 😋.
I also ordered a craft beer from Fukuoka, which was also delicious 😉.
Hakata Hyakunenkura Junmai Ginjo F44
15% 55% 720ml 1870yen
I went to Hakata brewery from Tokyo. There were a lot of souvenirs and many foreigners were there.
This is the first time to drink sake from this brewery, but it gives the impression of being sweet, heavy, and guttural. It has a flavor like persimmon extract and a depth like soy sauce-based soup stock. It is sweet and spicy, sweet and strong, and has a powerful feeling of more than 15 degrees Celsius.
My wife said it has a salty taste.
It is a little too strong to keep drinking. It is best served on the rocks.
The website says that it is for "food", but I wonder if this is the taste that people in Kyushu prefer.
The label says "F44" because it uses Fukuoka's strain 44 yeast.
