It is said to be a Hakata locally distributed product. Water? I thought so, but then bitterness and a thin grape-like fruity taste + a refreshing sweetness spread out. The lingering taste is astringent from the alcohol and a bittersweet feeling in the mouth like thin cocoa.

Drank from my suitcase stash as I bought too much sake this trip 🤣 It was sweet but not cloying and nicely strawberry! I could taste that it was real berries, not a fake flavor.

Nama-shu is delicious, but it's sake! But it's sake, not just a dry sake, but a strong alcohol taste. I bought it because I thought it was a rare sake from Hakata, but I'm glad I did.
