This is Shochikubai, a major sake brewery in Kyoto. I used to see it on TV commercials, but now I don't see it at all. It tastes relatively dry and refreshing. Today, I'm going to rest my stomach with a can of sardines and this.

This sake was sold at a nearby shop after a sightseeing tour of the Rokkosan ice house storage. Despite being a major sake brewery, it was limited to only 300 bottles. I thought, "If I don't buy it, I'll never be able to drink it," so I bought it. The taste is typical Hakutsuru sake. It's slightly sweet and refreshing. I've been drinking it for a long time, so it was very familiar to me. Today, I'm enjoying sake with a large sliced and roasted yam from Hokkaido, given to me by an old lady in the neighborhood. This is the royal way for sake lovers. But don't tell anyone that I also drink beer secretly.

It's been a while since I've been to Kyoto, and I want to drink it while watching the leaves light up.

The next Takezumi is a sake where you can taste the Kaze no Sake-Otsuchi gentleness and transparency. This sake has a clear and delicious taste. It has less spiciness. If you drink it cold or chilled, it tastes better with cold sake. It has an old-fashioned taste.

I think Takezumi has a relatively dry taste. On the label, it was written that the local sake distillation smoky and heavy acid. What is smoky? I thought, and decided to drink it in a square. Is it possible that the smell of the sake cellar makes the smokiness disappear? (laughs) Maybe the smokiness is lost in the smell of the masu? I think so. I didn't understand anything, I was just soothed by the smell of wood. Is it better to drink it in a glass if it has a special taste? But even in a glass, you can tell it's a dry taste that hits you hard. Today, I drank it up with tofu and mozuku vinegar. I think it goes well with rich meat dishes somehow. It may become a habit.

I bought it because of the penguin's label which is similar to Kamizen Nyosui. This one is high in alcohol content, 17-18. The moment you put it in your mouth, the sweetness and the deliciousness spread to your mouth. It is slightly fruity and the spiciness comes later. I drank it cold, but I heard it is better to drink it on the rocks. I wonder if I can make ice before I finish it. Let's make it anyway. First of all, it's happy peas and sake.

I bought this souvenir in Shizuoka and opened it. It has a good aroma, a good flavor and a rich taste. I wonder what it is, but it looks like the sake I drank before. Was it Sanzenmori? A 720mm bottle of sake was on sale at the supermarket for 500 yen, and it came with a glass. Shiraga-san is always so cheap! It's so cheap that you might think it should be a bit more expensive. It's cheap enough to make me think that it could be a little more expensive. The taste is not bad, and I always wonder why it is so cheap. At any rate, sake from noon!
