First, this has 18°, it's easy to drink but has 18° better to remember.
The flavor is clean and dry, Yamadanishiki rise is one that fit very good in sakè making, and this sakè is not an exception.
Very enjoyable in all occasions.
This is the second time that I try Kikuhime, but this is more light.
Cold the flavor is very light, but at ambient temperature all color came out, clean, light but enjoyable, I like it with 生ガキ (but without momiji ororoshi, I don't understand why there is it).
First, open this little bottle need patience.
If you are in a hurry to drink, it is not for you, you have to open slowly, close, and reopen another little and repeat the procedure several times, until it is possible to open it completely, at this point stir again and reopen.
Unfortunately I left it too long at room temperature, so it has much bitterness.
Next time I will try it again very cold.

But the alcohol taste is not annoying.
At the first slip the flavor of 生酒 (raw sakè) is intense and round, but at the second slip all the power kick hard.
Not the sake for every occasion, but I like it with salty cheese like "Parmigiano Reggiano".
When cold, the smell and taste are both strong, in particular the flavor of rice.
At ambient temperature the flavor become more round, still strong, but with less rice accent.
I like to drink it cold.

Very strong and powerful Koshu's flavor.
To be sipped a little at a time with small おちょこ to keep the right balance in the mouth.

Very light & easy to drink.
At ambient temperature the flavor is more strong specially the sweetness increase. (this is the 3rd glass)
