It does not have a strong umami, which is common in brewed sake.
It has little rice flavor, but is a dry sake that is easy to drink neatly.
The price is reasonable, so it is good for everyday evening drinking.

Basically, I don't drink brewed alcohol in pubs.
I don't drink brewed sake at izakaya because I always feel nervous about taking the risk of paying for it because of the large margin of error. I am always nervous about taking a gamble.
This Tateyama has less of the amino acid content that is unique to brewed sake, and is more like a junmai (pure rice) sake. I like it.

Sake with the sweetness of freshly squeezed rice.
I drank it while eating pickled horse mackerel with Nanbanzuke, probably the wrong pairing.
It was served cold, but I think it would probably taste better hot.
It was also good at room temperature after a little time.

It says on the label that it's junmai heated sake, but it was served cold (because that's how it was served at the restaurant).
It's dry and delicious, but now that I've seen the label, I'd rather drink it warmed!
