From Sota Watanabe Shoten's Hump-Kai, Miyazumi yeast additive-free Junmai Namaishimoto. It's a limited edition sake made in the traditional way. It is brewed with so-called "kura-tsuki" yeast, and although it is not gorgeous, I enjoyed the original flavor of sake! It's a completely different kind of sake from Keisaku!
Aizu Musume is a family favorite. This time it was a special honjozo. We had it cold, but I think it tastes better warmed. I'll try it warmed next time!
Before Dawn by Ono Sake Brewery in Nagano Prefecture. The sake rice is also Yamae Nishiki from Nagano prefecture. You can enjoy the original flavor of sake with a solid structure.
We bought it at Yamanashi Meijo in Taigahara. It is a limited sake that can only be bought here. They sell a namaishu named after the seven wise men every year.
Speaking of Shichiken, it is sparkling, but this is a real Junmai-shu. I don't know why, but it had little of the freshness of a namaishu, and more of the robust taste of a fire-roasted junmai-shu.
It is Sota's Hump Kai original. The koji rice is Yamada Nishiki from Hyogo Prefecture, and the Kake rice is Yume no Ka.
Hirotogawa is one of my favorite brands because of its full flavor, but this Jun Gin has a crispness in its fullness, so you can enjoy it in a different way.
Aizu Nakasho no Natsu Gin. This is the sake you want to drink in the middle of a hot summer day. The sweetness, which is different from Junmai, will heal your tired body.
After the sparkling, the Natsu Jun Gin. It has a refreshing and crisp throat that is perfect for summer. Shichiken has a beautiful taste no matter which one you drink.
Speaking of Shichiken, it is sparkling. We bought it at Futabaya, a liquor store in Fujiyoshida, and had it at the inn. This isn't sake anymore, is it? Oh, I blew up as I promised.
Take care, everyone.
This is a bottle recommended by Watanabe Sota Shoten in Aizuwakamatsu. It is Jinya Junmai Dry from Aruga Jozo, a sake brewery in Shirakawa. It's the first time I drank it, but it's refreshing and easy to drink. It has a different taste from the sake of Aizu.
Toyoshimaya, a sake brewery in Okaya City, Nagano Prefecture, makes Toyooka Dry Special Junmai Sake. The sake rice is Hitogochi. Is this your first time to drink it? But it's not dry at all.
It has a crispness, but you can also feel the umami.
This is also Sota's Hump Kai original. I think it has a gentler image than Senkou. I don't know much about the characteristics of Kuranohana, but it has a refreshing taste, perfect for summer sake!
Sota's Hump Kai Original. Speaking of Senkou, it is sourness. You can certainly feel the sourness, but it is not sour. It has a refreshing sourness like a summer sake. This is delicious!
It's an aged sake, so I imagined it would taste like an old sake, but I guess the original sake is light and refreshing, and it's rather dry. I guess. It can be used as a midday drink.
