I would like to end by introducing "Yuma" which I brought to the meeting 💡.
When I attended the Kyushu Chapter's regular meeting during the Obon vacation, I was so shocked when I drank it as a toast that it was chosen over Nagasaki sake. ⚡️
It has a sweetness and aroma like grapefruit with a bit of bitterness.
It is sold year-round, but I think it is a perfect summer drink 💡.
I'm glad I brought it with me because I heard people say, "It's delicious ❗️" ✨

According to the Nanayo Sake Brewery's website, the brewery moved from Setaka in Miyama City in southern Fukuoka to Okagaki Town facing the Genkai Sea.

The initial aroma is mild and sweet.
In the mouth, it has a refreshing acidity and a sweet flavor that is very drinkable despite its low alcohol content of 13%.

A sweet and tasty sake with a fresh aroma and a gentle acidity.
The light tanginess of 14 degrees Celsius is pleasant, and it's really easy to drink and delicious.
The moderate bitterness at the end of the bottle invites you to drink even more.

Purchased at the Hakata Sumiyoshi Sake Brewery main store.
Refreshing and clean, with a slight bubbly taste. It has a refreshing muscat-like acidity, followed by a light sweetness, and finally a light astringency from the ori. The alcohol content is low, so you could say it's like a juice. It is so good, you can drink it in large gulps. It goes well with meals.

It is "Yuma" from Fukuoka Prefecture's Nanayo Sake Brewery.
I didn't expect to be able to drink the sake that is currently tied for #1 on my list of Kyushu sake I want to drink 😳.
Shichiyou Shuzo is a long-established sake brewery with a 160-year history, but is an up-and-coming brewery that moved its brewery and started brewing anew in 2022.
Yuma is one of their first commemorative bottles!
The brand name comes from the old name of Mt. Yukawa near the brewery, "Yuma-yama," which is also mentioned in the Manyoshu anthology.
It is a low-alcohol designed sake brewed from Yamada-Nishiki produced in Fukuoka Prefecture with a rice polishing ratio of 60%.
The appearance is a mist-white color.
The aroma is citrusy with a refreshing acidity.
On the palate, the acidity, sweetness, and bitterness reminiscent of grapefruit spread with the stimulation of gaseous sensation and disappear quickly.
The aftertaste is short.
The taste is "intense and refreshing" as described by the brewer, which is understandable.
There are still many issues to be addressed, such as aroma and flavor complexity and persistence, but first, I would like to congratulate the brewery on its first start: ㊗️
