At Makino Sake Brewery
We stopped by on our way to Kusatsu Onsen and talked with the store's brother about many things.
He told us that Takasaki City in Gunma Prefecture, where the brewery is located, has long been a flourishing wheat producer and has many pasta shops. A quick Google search shows that Takasaki is the number one pasta town in Japan! Gunma prefecture has the 1st largest number of Italian restaurants per capita! Oh I didn't know that 🍝.
I was recommended the "SAKE DI PASTA" series of pasta drinks, of which there are three types, and I chose the "Light! which goes well with oil-based pasta such as peperoncino.
It is fruity, juicy, and light. It is also delicious on its own without pasta 🍶✨.
I also learned about the Maccho series I posted earlier (which for some reason is not available at the brewery), and bought another bottle of a different sake made from a different type of sake. Looking forward ✨

Makino Shuzo has an image of sharp sake. Oh, because they make MACCHO?
This sake is also sharp.
I would call it a dry grape flavor.
This is a fire-brewed sake, but I remember that when I drank a draft sake before, it had a strong fanta-grape flavor.
The sake is said to have a sake degree of plus 2, but I felt it had a degree of plus 6.
Personally, I prefer this classic one to MACCHO.

At Anzai Shoten in Kusatsu Onsen
Macho series with a big impact!
Low-pasteurized is high-protein, in other words, macho! It's sharp! The rice is a fusion of Omachi O O Aizan, which gives the image of Oka Macho! A playful and stylish presentation ✨
The taste is fruity and completely belies the expectations of the label! Mecha Macho 💪.
It's macho, so it's sharp.
It has a strong flavor, fruity aroma, and dry taste.
The rice is low-polished, so the flavor of the rice is amazing 😁.
If you like Macho, you should try it 😆.
I received a large sake cup from Mr. Nochi❗This is the first time I have had anything other than the Macho series 🙏 Thank you so much Mr. Nochi🙏.
Thank you very much, Mr. Nochi 🙇.
It has a strong alcohol taste and umami 😋 but not too heavy and light sweetness with a spring-like freshness 🎵It was a nice encounter 😊.
It makes me want to taste different kinds of sake from northern Kanto ✨.
Taste firm. I found it to be a bit peculiar. The aftertaste is rather refreshing. As I drank it, it became more and more addictive and I ended up drinking quite a bit of it.
A little yellow
Full-bodied, full-bodied rice.
Not too strong, but acidic
It has a nice lingering aftertaste with a slight tanginess on the tongue.
I have a feeling that I want to warm it up a little...
Soda taste, iron taste, rough acidity, lactic grape sweetness in the lingering dryness. Refreshing for summer. Reminiscent of a slim, drawn Japanese sword rather than macho.
