Visited Gunma during Obon vacation
After sightseeing at Mt. Akagi and Mt. Haruna, we visited the Makino Sake Brewery and purchased some of the sake recommended by the brewer.
The clear red color from the yeast and the label reminded me of a rosé wine 🍷.
It reminds me of a rosé wine!
The aroma is moderate, with a hint of sweetness and acidity from the rice,
It is easy to drink, with a thick mouthfeel and fine bubbles of gas.
The color is also due to the honeyed sweetness of strawberries!
It is a true dessert sake, and if you try it with vanilla ice cream, you may enjoy it even more with its creaminess. ✨️

This is the 10th in the Macho Series, a commemorative series!
This macho sake was brewed with the image of low-polished rice = protein, and Bodhimoto = Buddha. It was brewed using Gunma Prefecture's Tamanao, without the addition of cultured yeast. Deep body, almost liberating taste. It is sharp. (Brewer) A sense of maturity & umami.
It has a sour taste, probably from the bodied yeast.
It tastes sweet and lactic pickle-like. Middle body.

I drank this Oubai sake on a trip to Gunma Prefecture. It has a mild fruity aroma and a sharpness that makes it perfect for a mealtime drink!
I bought it because I wanted to drink something with different specs. It is still delicious.
MACHO series milled rice 90%. Slightly brown in color. Rich aroma. The mouthfeel is mildly sweet, and the wild rice flavor of the gorilla label spreads. It has a tangy taste, but it is crisp and addictive. This is delicious!

Gunma's Oubai.
This is the first time to drink this brand.
The name is "Oosakazuki".
It is famous as the sake brewer of the Macho series.
But I have never seen or drunk the Macho series. (Chuckles).
I'm already getting drunk and my sense of taste is not feeling as good as Noh. 😅
Today... we open a bottle of Macho 💪 Bodai Hashiroshi 90% from our favorite Ohbai 🍶 🥰.
So far... my personal preference in the series I've had in the past is Macho Gorilla 🦍>Oaibai Special Junmai>Macho Fusion Aiyama x Yamadanishiki ≒ Macho Aiyama... we'll see how this one turns out: ⁉️
Well, when I excitedly opened the bottle, the aroma is not so much, but it has a unique aroma 🤔.
It has a sweetness, but it's not a fruit aroma, nor a ginjo aroma... 💧It's like I've never encountered such an aroma before... 😓.
It may not be a good aroma for some people....

It has a sweet and delicious taste that I have never encountered before, and strangely enough, it is not unpleasant and has a good sharpness and is very refreshing 🤔.
It has a very unique taste, a bit like a rich white wine...well, I regret that my vocabulary is not good enough to convey it to all the users of Sake-no-wa 😭.
I recommend it to those who want to try a new genre of sake that is not the usual sake 👌
I will consider my personal ranking depending on the taste change after the second day...but for now it's an extra candidate 🤣.

This sake is a bit different for different tastes 💦.
It has a firm tangy taste.
Fresh aroma with a strong flavor and sweetness, but it quickly fades away, leaving a lingering bitterness in the aftertaste.
