This is the second bottle of Hoshisen I bought in Nara!
Slightly effervescent, rich sweetness like lychee.
It has a slightly dry atmosphere and is sweeter than the No. 5 yeast.

I wish there were more stores where I could buy it.

After ordering from takeshon Sake Shop, I always wanted to go there to buy it. This is the only store in the Kansai region that specializes in Hoshisen.
They have an overwhelming selection of famous Nara sake.
There are many brands other than Nara that are not available in Kansai, such as Kenshin, Tenka Nishiki, Librom, Shikishima, and Hoshizumi.
This time, I only went to Hoshizumi because there were other sake shops I wanted to visit.
It has a flavor like Kyoho grapes and a slightly milky taste. It is more refreshing than the Hiragana series, but sweet and delicious. The lingering sweetness of the 🍇 flavor is long.
The No. 5 yeast is said to have originated from Kamotsuru.
I wonder if Hoshiizumi is a segregated series that uses Hiragana two-digit yeast and Kanji yeast, which is no longer used in modern times.

I went back to my parents' house in Nagoya for the first time in 4 years.
First, I took the Shinkansen to Nagoya Station with my wife Bibi, had a drink at a restaurant near the station, and then moved to each other's parents' house.
We enjoyed dote-ni, miso kushikatsu, miso oden, and yakitori (grilled chicken), and had Taiwanese ramen for dinner.
Hoshizumi was fruity but had a clean aftertaste. I would have liked to have had some brewer's kuheiji, but unfortunately it was sold out that day. More to come.

I think you probably got the wrong one 🤣I've bought sake that people around me were raving about and it deteriorated many times, so I thought it's a common occurrence with sake 🤔.
I have never had Maruichi Sake Brewery, although it is quite close to me, and I had wanted to try it after reading Tokopo's post... I cheated on my last purchase with nigori sake and went to the brewery to buy some when they ran out of nigori sake.
It's fresh and easy to drink.
It is unfiltered raw so be careful not to drink too much ⚠️
My former boss is from Agui, and when we held a "Sake 🍶 meeting" on the island, we were allowed to drink Hoshizumi🍶.

At first it smells and tastes like pineapple.
Later on, a slight bitterness is felt and goes away easily.
Maybe it's a combination problem.
I don't think it is suitable as a food wine.
