This is the second bottle of Hoshisen I bought in Nara! Slightly effervescent, rich sweetness like lychee. It has a slightly dry atmosphere and is sweeter than the No. 5 yeast. It also has a burnt candy-like taste. I wish there were more stores where I could buy it.

Sake limited to 6 stores nationwide. Purchased from Noboru Sake Shop in Tenri. After ordering from takeshon Sake Shop, I always wanted to go there to buy it. This is the only store in the Kansai region that specializes in Hoshisen. They have an overwhelming selection of famous Nara sake. There are many brands other than Nara that are not available in Kansai, such as Kenshin, Tenka Nishiki, Librom, Shikishima, and Hoshizumi. This time, I only went to Hoshizumi because there were other sake shops I wanted to visit. It has a flavor like Kyoho grapes and a slightly milky taste. It is more refreshing than the Hiragana series, but sweet and delicious. The lingering sweetness of the 🍇 flavor is long. The No. 5 yeast is said to have originated from Kamotsuru. I wonder if Hoshiizumi is a segregated series that uses Hiragana two-digit yeast and Kanji yeast, which is no longer used in modern times.

This is Bozu Nagoya Ekimae Branch. First, Hoshizumi, Junmai Ginjo. I went back to my parents' house in Nagoya for the first time in 4 years. First, I took the Shinkansen to Nagoya Station with my wife Bibi, had a drink at a restaurant near the station, and then moved to each other's parents' house. We enjoyed dote-ni, miso kushikatsu, miso oden, and yakitori (grilled chicken), and had Taiwanese ramen for dinner. Hoshizumi was fruity but had a clean aftertaste. I would have liked to have had some brewer's kuheiji, but unfortunately it was sold out that day. More to come.

The last and the big winner of the last sake from takeshon liquor store. Comparison with No. 14. Pineapple-like aroma. Slightly effervescent. Pineapple-like sweetness with bitterness. The aroma that passes through the nose is also gorgeous pineapple. This is delicious. Too much pineapple to be a pineapple 🤣. I heard it gets sweeter after a few days, so we'll see how it goes. Surprisingly, No. 14 has a lower sake content. I feel like the pineapple flavor is even stronger after 3 days 😁. I can smell the aroma of 🍍 even from a distance 🤣. It has a syrupy feel to it like Manachy said. It's like canned pineapple.

One of the mainstays in sake from takeshon liquor store. I was anxious to open it because Mr. Manachy said it looked grassy😅. The rice is Yume Ginko. Sweet aroma. It definitely has a lychee-like flavor. Bitter taste from juicy flavor like raisins. Fades out with lingering bitterness. It's been 3 days since the bottle was opened, but I think the sweet and sourness is coming out. Bitterness from sweet and sourness. I think the sweetness is coming out more than the first day. On the 5th day after opening the bottle, the sweetness seems to have increased. The sweetness is like a candy.

I have never had Maruichi Sake Brewery, although it is quite close to me, and I had wanted to try it after reading Tokopo's post... I cheated on my last purchase with nigori sake and went to the brewery to buy some when they ran out of nigori sake. It's fresh and easy to drink. It is unfiltered raw so be careful not to drink too much ⚠️
