Okamoto Honke brews the brand name: Kinkame, located in Inukami-gun, Shiga Prefecture: ‼️
This is the first time in my life that I have had this sake.
I was looking at the label and saw that it was a hi-iru sake, 80% polished rice, and the waiter said, "We have a last one, a raw sake called Asura.
I asked what kind of rice it was, and she said "Nihonbare ❗️" which is rice with rice.
I asked what kind of rice it was and they said "Nihonbaru ". This is the first time I've ever had a sake brewed with 80% rice and I was excited 😮.
I was wondering if the rice had any tangy taste.
Now, the actual drinking: ‼️
Color → Beautiful kohaku color.
Aroma -> Unique aroma with a hint of sweetness.
Taste →There is no expected tangy taste, and the rice is very tasty 🫢.
It's also good hot sake: ‼️
But I prefer it cold ❤️
I felt the great skill of the brewer to make rice rice so well 🤔.
I can recommend this sake to people who like food sake💁♂️✨
A sweet sake in Kinkame. It is sweet but has a sharp taste. It seems to be a size that is only offered in a three-sake drinking comparison set. I bought it at a liquor store on Hikone Castle Road.
Souvenir from Hikone, Shiga Prefecture
My first experience with 20% polished raw sake ❤️.
I was going to open it on New Year's Day, but I was too happy to be alone on New Year's Eve for the first time since I got married, so I fled!
I had a really good time this year with my sake debut!
Sake and people meet once in a lifetime
Thank you so much for meeting me!
I wish you a wonderful next year!
Purchased at Hayashiya on Castle Street in Hikone.
This is an unusual sake brewed with 90% polished rice, with only 10% unpolished rice. It has a rich extractive taste of rice flavor, sweetness, and acidity, but at the same time it has a unique aroma and a twang that is truly like pickles.
However, compared to "Kinkame Aka," which is brewed with brown rice, it has a milder character and is still drinkable. The red is a little too strong for some people.
It has a strong peculiarity, so it can be liked or disliked, but it is a sake that I like.
The Kinkame brand was very tasty and I was able to sample a variety of it at a liquor store in Hikone.
On the way back to Hikone, I found a bottle of fire-brewed Green 60 on sale in front of the Hikone station, so I bought some as a souvenir.
While most of the fresh Kinkame have a very strong character, this Green 60 is very ordinary.
But this Midori 60 is a very good sake, easy to drink and delicious.
Kameido was served at Umeda-ya!
It is not a trendy drink, but it was sweet and dry and went well with the raw oysters we had with it.
Thank you very much for your hospitality.
