It started with a conversation about a sake-loving daughter (in her 20s) at a friend's workplace.
After some discussion, we decided to hold the event at our house.
Since it was a special opportunity, I asked Kazkaz and Sashu to join us. OK!
There were 8 of us, but my wife was cooking, so there were actually 7 of us.
The first bottle was Kirifuri, a gift from Mr. Kazkaz. It is said to be a distributed version of Sentori in Tochigi Prefecture, and naturally, the taste is just like Sentori! The balance of sweetness and sourness with a little bit of gas, and the crispness of the aftertaste....
It's so good!
It is available at a local supermarket at a reasonable price.

Yesterday, I was invited by Colonel Lal to a sake party. Eight of us drank at Colonel Lal's home. I was nervous because many of us had never met each other before, but I was relieved to see KazKaz there.
The first thing that surprised me was the menu (^o^). And all the dishes were really delicious. I really appreciate Colonel Lal's wife.
First of all, KazKaz brought his own Kirifuri (^o^)I forgot to take a picture of it, so I used the one I bought. The aroma is light citrusy. When I drank it, I felt sweetness and slight carbonation. Then it has a sourness and balance that is typical of Sengoku. It was great as a starting sake (^o^). It went well with Iburi gakko (pickled ginger), and it was perfect with muscat salad. This acidity and muscat. I was impressed because I had never paired it with fruits before. I was impressed because I had never paired it with fruit before.

Senkin's local brand
It remains fruity and fresh while being fire-aged.
It has a nutty and savory nuance.
I think I like it better than the SENKIN line.
After visiting liquor stores and supermarkets in Nasushiobara city, we were able to obtain the best soon-to-be bottled after our fourth visit.
The fruity ginjo aroma and the fresh aroma of lactic acid and green grass foretell of a sweet and sour taste. The sweetness in the first sip is refreshingly light and pleasant. Compared to Sentori, this sake gives the impression of a well-balanced all-purpose sake, and is very tasty.
We had a great time talking about how you should buy this ‼️ at the last prefectures meeting 🤗.
KazKaz and Sashu bought it right away and brought it back to Tohoku 😁.
As for us locals, we can't just say that it's always available 😤 We went shopping at Super Yaoko!

The other day, on the 9th, I participated in the Tohoku and Tochigi Prefectural Meeting with Haruei Chichi. I felt the warmth of the people of Sake-no-Wa again, and even those who were new to the group were able to blend in immediately because of the common topic of sake. It was a very happy time. I will leave the review of the day's sake to you (laugh). The diploma text said that there is a wide variety of sake, including dry, sake yeast, sweet and sour, etc. (^o^)
So I had a sake from Tochigi to soak up the afterglow. I thought about the next day's work, so I had this (^o^)Senkou's Kirifuki. I bought it because I heard it was only sold in Tochigi, my hometown. It was sold at a supermarket.
The aroma is like melon.(^o^)Very fruity. When I drank it, it had a strong muscat flavor, and it also had a nice sharpness with a strong sourness and bitterness, which is typical of Senkyoku. It seems that such a fruity sake would make you get tired of drinking it, but this is not the case with this sake. Like the Akakame that I bought in Nagano, this sake is made so that local people can buy it anytime and always have it on hand. And the cost performance is great.
It tastes different when you go there and breathe the air before drinking it.
