A story about how Hyogo sake might not be right for you.
When I was having a drink with a friend from Hyogo, I looked up what sake is available in Hyogo and found names I had heard of, such as Kiku-Masamune and Okuharima. I had a strong impression that Kiku-Masamune was not my favorite sake, having tasted it all at a sake fair held at a department store once.
I wondered how Okuharima would be like, and the result was... I still didn't like it. I guess you could call it a rice taste, but it was heavy and had a strong alcohol taste. It was the exact opposite of gorgeous and refreshing, and if I had to say it was like a sake, I would say so, but anyway, it was the exact opposite of my own direction.
