Yamanashi Hokuto City TANI-Sakura Sake Brewing Honjozo Nama-Shu TANI-Sakura Shiboritate
The aroma is weak, but the taste is strong and sweet.
The aftertaste is soft and gentle.
Fukumitsuya, Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture Kagatobi Junmai Ginjo Umeyoshi
Gorgeous aroma, light mouthfeel, and a refreshing aftertaste.
The impact of the label is also good.
Oyama City, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan - Sugita Shuzo - Nama-hashtoshizukuri - Unfiltered unpasteurized sake - Only rice
The first full-bodied sake in a long time.
Not much sweetness, quite dry.
Easy to drink on the rocks.
Narutabura Junmai Unpasteurized Sake from Negami Shuzoten, Gotemba City, Shizuoka Prefecture
This sake has a soft aroma, sweetness, and richness, and was made with good water, good rice, and good brewers.
With an alcohol content of 18 degrees, it is a very satisfying sake.
Hakusan City, Ishikawa Prefecture Yoshida Sake Brewery Tetorigawa Junmai-shu niji
A bottle from the origin series of Tedorigawa, a famous sake from Ishikawa Prefecture.
It is an unpretentious sake for everyday drinking, but with a gorgeous, gentle taste on the palate, it is a truly enjoyable new sake produced by a traditional brewery.
Tenryo Homare Shuzo, Nakano City, Nagano Prefecture First Love Junmai
I found this sake while traveling in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture.
Junmai sake with a cute name and a cute label.
As you can see, it has a sweet, gentle taste, good for an aperitif.
It is also light and delicious at 13 degrees Celsius.
There are still many breweries and brands that I don't know about, and they are fun to drink!
Higashiida Shuzo, Nagano City, Nagano Prefecture Honro-no-Matsu Wakamatsu Unfiltered Nama-Shu Honjozo
This is the first time to drink this brand. Even though it is unfiltered, it is not heavy. Perhaps because it is a honjozo, it is surprisingly refreshing, yet tasty.
Momogawa Corporation, Kamikita-gun, Aomori Junmai Daiginjo, Polishing 50%.
This Daiginjo-shu has a plump aroma and a gentle, mellow mouthfeel.
I like Momogawa's nigori sake, and whenever I find it, I pick it up, but their daiginjos are also very well made. Delicious!
Hiryu Junmai Daiginjo, Shinzawa Jyuten, Osaki City, Miyagi Prefecture
The first sip is a dry, crisp daiginjo. The sweet umami of the rice spreads from the second sip.
It is hard to find such a cosy daiginjo.
Imanishi Sake Brewery, Sakurai City, Nara Prefecture Imanishi Junmai Ginjo
I regularly visit Miwasan (Mt. Miwa) to worship the god of sake. The sake brewed in Sakurai City has a refreshing sourness that gradually permeates the body when you take a sip.
You can tell that this sake is made seriously.
FUKUI NO EN NAMAKURI Junmai Hon-Shin Nama-Nara Sake
A fresh aroma, crisp and dry as the name suggests.
It has a strong taste without the heaviness of a pure sake.
Tokyo, Higashimurayama City Toyoshimaya Shuzo Okunokami Brewing No. 8 Junmai Ginjyo Unadjusted Nama Shuzake
As the name suggests, this sake has a roughness to it that allows you to taste the true taste of sake.
It also has a slightly fizzy taste.
It is hard to find in other areas of Japan, but this sake is from Tokyo.
Kurumata Shuzo, Hakusan City, Ishikawa Prefecture Noto Peninsula Earthquake Sake Brewery Reconstruction Support Sake Noto Hatsusakura + Tengumai
This is a blend of Noto Hatsusakura Honjozo and Tengumai, which miraculously survived at Sakurada Sake Brewery in Noto.
The situation must be really tough, but we hope that both the local people and the brewery will not give up and will do their best.
I pray that we will be able to taste the original Hatsuzakura again.
Aomori, Kamikita-gun, Momogawa Corporation Nigori (nigori) sake Momogawa
Momogawa is a brand that used to be purchased on trips to Tohoku, but now, thanks to Aeon, it is easily available everywhere.
It is still the same gentle nigori sake.
Sakura Shuzo, Yokote City, Akita Prefecture Junmai Daiginjo Sakura
We chose a spring-like brand.
It is a selfish assumption, but I feel that even daiginjos have a strong sweetness of rice when they go up north in Tohoku,
Is it my imagination? But this sake has a rich sweetness that I like.
Kusumi Shuzo, Mishima-gun, Niigata Prefecture Natsuko Monogatari Special Junmai Namaisake Namaisake Namaisake Aged Old Sake
This sake is from a brewery in Niigata Prefecture that was the subject of a TV drama for a while. This is a rare aged old sake from a famous liquor store in Shizuoka Prefecture that was aged in their own store before being sold.
It turns amber in color and has a slightly smoky aroma with a Western-style flavor, but the aftertaste is a mysterious one, with a gentle rice aftertaste of sake.
It goes well with chocolate and cheese.
A new way to enjoy sake!
Kamo Nishiki Sake Brewery, Kamo City, Niigata Prefecture, Japan
We were able to obtain a very rare sake!
It's a Niigata Prefecture's Shafuda-shu. Even though it's a Daiginjo, it has a direct sweetness and a great fruity taste.
Taisetsukei Shuzo, Kitaazumi-gun, Nagano Prefecture, Japan Special Junmai Nama Shuzo, Snow Breeding Taisetsukei
A dry and crisp type of sake. It is a good sake to drink with fish.
Miyazumi Meikozo, Aizuwakamatsu City, Fukushima Miyazumi Junmai Sake, Unfiltered, Nama
Nowadays, there are probably no sake fans who do not know this brand, but back when only Tobiroki was treated differently in Aizu, I bought it for the first time at a certain liquor store when I was told, "Soon this will be one of the hardest to find! I bought it for the first time.
Soon after that, it became a topic of conversation, and became a brand that was hard to buy,
Even when I drink it now, the impression I had at that time comes back to me. It is really good.
