This is awesome! The level of quality is high as it is a sake for the awards ceremony. The acidity is elegant, and the flavor is typical of Yamagata's ginjo-shu. I wasn't sure if I should buy it or not because of the good price, but I'm glad I did.
It says that it is made by maturing raw sake at low temperature, and has a very soft texture. This is exactly what it says on the label. It has a good feel on the palate.
100% Dewa Brilliant from Yamagata Prefecture
It is a little sweet and has a very nice firm acidity. Yesterday, I felt the bitterness strongly, but today it was round and calm.
For me, Hirotogawa is a kind of sake like an old wife that I can keep drinking. While maintaining this tendency, the Yamadanishiki gives it a bit of glamour. No complaints!
Stronger acidity to emphasize the fruitiness. Muscat-like mouthfeel? The aftertaste is not bitter but astringent, and I personally don't like this astringency. There is no gas.
White Hanamurra! A gorgeous and mellow sake typical of Hanamuras. The acidity is low, and the sweetness and bitterness on the back end are well balanced.
