I was able to drink it again this year! Nigori (nigori) sake from Hanahayo, a famous sake that Saitama Prefecture is proud of. This year's version is a bit more effervescent and has a strong rice flavor. It is easy to drink and delicious!
A collaboration sake between Mimasu Sake Shop and 寫樂. It was quite a hard sell as it was limited to 20 bottles a day at Akabane station and only available for one week! My sons managed to buy it after standing in line from 7:00 a.m., and I even managed to drink a little bit myself, having just slept at home (lol).
It is nigori, but not so fizzy, and is a very tasty junmai ginjo with a beautiful sweetness, a slight cemedine taste, and a clean aftertaste. As one would expect from 寫樂!
When my son heard that our favorite Kameizumi CEL-24 Junmai Daiginjo had just arrived at our local liquor store, he ran out to buy it.
First of all, the aroma is wonderful - the gorgeous ginjo aroma spreads in a flash. It tastes like pineapple juice, but with a stronger aftertaste of rice than the regular CEL-24.
I would like to compare it with the Usunigori and Tosa Urara I bought the other day, as I still have some left.
This is the Tosa Urara version of CEL-24, which we obtained when we visited the Kameizumi Fair at Asano Sake Shop. The taste changes quite a bit when the rice used is different. Compared to the normal CEL-24, this one has a more gorgeous aroma and a stronger umami flavor. There is a slight alcohol taste in the aftertaste, but it is not unpleasant, but rather accentuates its character.
It is also delicious!
This is a limited, light nigori version of Kameizumi CEL-24, which is well-known for its pineapple juice flavor. The sweet and delicious taste is preserved, but the fizz has been added to give it a fresher feel. This is delicious!
The aroma is also good, so it tastes even better when drunk in a wine glass. Highly recommended.
This is the first time I have had sake from Tokyo. The acidity is clear and refreshing. Slightly strong cemedine taste. It was a beautiful tasting sake.
Today's June limited edition Yamada-Nishiki directly pumped, unfiltered, raw sake is on sale. My son lined up at Nanyo Brewery in Hanyu from 6:00 in the morning to purchase it. First of all, the aroma when the bottle is opened is wonderful. The first sip of this sake has a gorgeous acidity and a fresh flavor that is very delicious. I recommend it even to those who do not like sake.
It has a very good balance of sweetness and acidity, and can be drunk as easily as water. There is no unpleasant alcohol taste at all. I would like to pair it with seafood.
It is a very fine and delicious sake.
We had it at Sake Bar Tsubaki in Jujo, Kita-ku. First of all, it has a very nice aroma. The balance of sourness and sweetness is also wonderful, and it can be drunk without any resistance at all. And even the aftertaste is delicious. I am grateful to have been allowed to drink this precious sake.
As the name suggests, it is recommended for tuna dishes, so we paired it with tuna negima nabe.
It is a rich, sweet-umami type of wine that is delicious on its own. Of course, it also goes well with tuna dishes 👌👌.
I have had many nigori sake, and this is the most delicious, easy to drink, and refreshing. The pineapple flavor of Hanaoyokyu is still present, and the slight sparkle and yogurt-like flavor make it easy to drink. There is no unpleasant alcohol taste at all.
This is wonderful!
The UA and Dragon are quite effervescent. The UA and Dragon are quite effervescent. The taste is like tuna: red meat, medium fatty tuna, and large fatty tuna (of course, Dragon is the large fatty tuna). (Of course, the Dragon is the big fatty tuna.) This year's Snowman series is a winner!
The aroma is mild, but in the mouth it has a fresh acidity and rice sweetness. This was the first time for me to try Shiga sake, and it was quite a wonderful, easy-drinking sake.
This is the first time I have had Shinshu Kamerei, a famous sake from Ueda City, Nagano Prefecture. In the mouth, the acidity is strong on the tongue at first, but then the umami and sweetness of the rice come in. The finish is refreshing. Although it is sweet, it does not feel sticky at all, and I enjoyed it as a mealtime sake.
It's been a while since I drank Shinsei No,6, but this R-type was quite acidic. Maybe it's been a long time since I opened the bottle, it's yr2021. It even felt a bit like white wine.
Anyway, it is easy to drink. It is a little far from the sweet and delicious type of sake that is popular nowadays, but it was a good sake with a light and refreshing aftertaste.
It went well with oysters and seafood.
