It is a limited edition product available only at the brewery's store. They let you fill it yourself from the barrel. I filled it so vigorously that it almost spilled.
The flavor is rich and you can feel the sweetness of the rice. It was a good sake.
The rice is Hidahomare produced in Iwamura.
Sake made with Koshihikari rice. It is said to be a project to preserve the decreasing number of terraced rice paddies. It was not easy to mill Koshihikari rice up to 50%, but it seems that technological advances have made it possible. It had a non-habitual taste.
At a liquor store in Gujo City, I was first recommended Tenryo, but when I said I would prefer a sake that was not only spicy, they recommended this one.
He recommended this one.
I told him that this was a special-order item that could not be purchased at the brewery. The label is interesting in that it is a license for Gujo dancing.
The taste was well-balanced and wonderful.
It was for sale at Mitsukoshi.
This sake has a good balance of spiciness and acidity. Nagano's water is clear and tasty. It is good in terms of cost.
