I found this at a liquor store that I always visit when I visit Takayama. I have visited many times, but I had never seen it before. When I looked in the refrigerator, I found a label that caught my attention and I immediately bought it. I was told that it is only sold within a week of purchase and that it is the liquor store's original sake! I should have bought another bottle!
I bought this sake because it was described as a very good match for fish and shellfish. It is a very good sake for a meal with a moderate, refreshing and delicious flavor. You can drink as much as you want.
I found something unusual.
Since it is a pure sake, it has a high alcohol content and is easy to drink if you add a grain of ice. It is a nigori sake with a rich and umami flavor that fills the mouth. The aroma is also wonderful.
I bought it as recommended at a roadside station.
It has been a while since I had a dry sake.
I drank it in one gulp and it was gone in no time at all!
Light nigori, which is my recent boom.
It has just the right amount of bubbles and is refreshing, just like a ginjo-shu!
Of course, the aroma is also good, as is the raw sake.
Very satisfying!
It was refreshing, light, nigori-like with a hint of sweetness. It was recommended by the store staff, and I was right in following their recommendation.
