Sake I've been wondering about. Crisp and sharp! And a slight bitterness? Astringent? It was an adult flavor. The old man at the liquor store where I bought it was very nice and recommended me to go back for a tasting. (I was very sorry that I had to decline the tasting because I was coming back from oral surgery and had just had a tooth extracted, so alcohol was not allowed...)

Purchased at an antenna store in Fukui Prefecture. I liked it because it was cute and resembled the design of the Aki-Deer. I drank it chilled and it was slightly dry and had a good taste 👍🦌.

I had given it to my father as a gift in the past, but this is the first time I drink it myself. It has a slight sweetness, but the aftertaste is clean and refreshing, so it goes well with any meal. It's well-balanced and seems to be suitable for everyone, so it would make a nice little gift.

I recently went to an oral surgery clinic three stops next door and learned that there was a liquor store near that station with a good selection, so I paid a quick visit. I purchased this one, which is not available at the liquor store near my home. It is fruity and slightly sweet. I am not a fan of sweet sake, but it is elegant and goes down a treat. I could understand why it is so popular.

I found this sake labeled "Zo Ikkoku" when I visited Niigata Antenna Shop the other day. I immediately bought it because it comes with a Piyo-Piyo cup. Rumiko Takahashi was born in Niigata, wasn't she☺️? I bought it for the extra, but the sake itself is very easy to drink and very satisfying. I am very satisfied with the sake itself, very easy to drink and very satisfying. I'm also interested in Rum-chan's Ginjo-shu.

While visiting Omotesando on business, I stopped by Shokurakuen in the basement of the Niigata Antenna Shop for lunch. I was told that they serve sake by the glass, so I chose this unusual drink. The aroma and the first sip gave the impression of wine. (Was it because it was served in a glass?) However, from the second sip, it tasted like a robust sake. It seems to be easy to match with any dishes. There are other brands to compare on the first floor, so I definitely want to visit again!

It is said to be one of three cups of sake based on Sanuki fairy tales. This is Urashima Taro, but there are also Momotaro and Kaguyahime. So they all originated from Sanuki 🤔. I was a little hesitant to buy it because the description in the store says "olive yeast used" which is unknown to me and the price is a little expensive (about 500 yen) compared to other cup sake, but this is delicious! It has less of that sake-like alcohol taste, but it's got a lot of flavor, and it's extremely easy to drink! I may want to drink this again.

Hanagasumi (花がすみ)

We had it when we dined at "Hanagasumi" in the Meiji Kinenkan (Meiji Memorial Museum). Since everyone except for me is a non-drinker, we were allowed to order sake with a minimum order of 1 gou (1 cup) and were served cold: Kubota, Hakkaisan, and Sukibarikazuru. I chose the only one I had never had before, the Shimehari-zuru. It is a little spicy and has a refreshing flavor that does not interfere with the meal, so I drank it easily while enjoying the kaiseki cuisine.

Purchased at an antenna store in Yamaguchi Prefecture. The design of the plum is modest but cute. The taste is not too assertive and easy to drink. We enjoyed it with dashi at the end. (We had oden for dinner...).

I knew of the existence of this cup of sake because I love Mizuki Sensai, but this was my first time to drink it. I had a preconceived notion that the taste of character sake was secondary to the taste, but I was surprised when I took a sip. I had a preconceived notion that the taste was secondary to the character sake, but I was surprised when I took a sip. What an elegant flavor...! I suddenly wanted to try the others (Nezumi Otoko (mouse man), Koyamiya (old man who cries for his children), and Mezama no Oyaji (old man with eyeballs)).

Cute looking panda pattern cup🐼 As the description on the website of the Miyai Sakura says, it has a "gentle and warm sake quality", and it really does taste just like that. I drank it chilled this time, but it also tastes great slightly warmed 🐼💕.

Purchased at an antenna store in Yamagata. Mellow, mild and easy to drink. It was easy to match with any meal. As an aside, my child took the pull tab, so I opened it with a can opener...

Kokushi Musou Mahjong Cup. The name and label design made me think it would be a harsh sake, but it was slightly sweet and easy to drink. Sake lovers and mahjong enthusiasts may appreciate it.

I was attracted by the "miracle" in Miracle Junmai 77 and bought it. It is a "miracle dry junmai sake with a rice polishing ratio of 77%. It is refreshing and easy to drink! I was quite impressed that it was easy to drink and had a strong alcoholic taste. However, the words "milled rice ratio" and "milled white ratio" do not make sense to me no matter how many times I read the explanation....

When drunk chilled, it is sharp and dry. When left for a while to warm up, it has a mellow taste. Tonight's menu consisted of sashimi and simmered dishes, and it was a perfect match.

This cup of sake has a cute anemone design. When I chilled it and drank it, I detected a faint bitterness, and was surprised at the gap between the appearance and the taste. It was quite a peculiar flavor (I felt).

I saw it at an antenna store and bought a packet, but Akita Seishu is the brewer of "Kariho". I knew it! The taste is rich and sweet. The taste is rich and sweet, and it made me think again how much I like nigori sake.
