I bought it on the way back from eating ramen in Kitakata, and was attracted by the cute little cup of red rice cake that came with it. It is a little heavy, but it leaves a lingering aftertaste, or is it?
It is said to be a colander picking, a method to collect sake that oozes out by osmosis. It is said to be a technique unique to the Aburacho Sake Brewery... It has flavor, sweetness and umami..., aroma and taste of sake, and it all comes together in a good balance. It makes you think that sake may be infinite.
This is a Junmai sake that I purchased for comparison. This one seems to be lighter than the other. The sound it makes when you open the cork makes you think it's a draft sake. ☺️It's easy to drink and tastes great, my personal favorite flavor. ❤️
We bought two bottles to compare. This one is a nama-shu with the addition of jyo-al, and the next is a junmai-shu. It's a refreshing and easy to drink sake, and I like the taste. Looking forward to the Junmai as well😊.
It's a gift from a friend, and it's hot from the first sip.‼️ I don't drink much of this type of sake, so I'm a little confused. I'm not a fan of heated sake, so I take it at room temperature. I can't drink it hot, so I take it at room temperature. I enjoy it slowly.
Sake made with 80% Gin-no-sato and 20% Yamadanishiki from Oki. It is slightly cloudy. The reserved swishing sound amplifies the anticipation. It has a good harmony of acidity and sweetness, and goes down the throat nicely. Personally, I like the taste.
Autumn Sake, it has started... I can feel the umami, acidity, and sweetness, but everything is thick like a thick sandwich. I want to match it with autumn flavors. ❣️
Tasake sparkling sake at the end of summer. I think it would be better to drink it in a wine glass, but I don't have one, so I'm sipping it with a cup of sake. I'll have some autumn sake ready, but first, here's a toast: ❣️
The sweetness was my first impression, but it was not an artificial sweetness, but rather the sweetness of the rice plus the sweetness of the brewing process over time, which seems to have added up to a delicious sweetness. It's not sweet, but it's like a sake where you can get drunk on the sweetness.
I had heard that Niigata sake is often dry, so I had somewhat avoided it. It is slightly cloudy. It does not feel dry, but there is a clear sake flavor that leaves your mouth. The aftertaste is nice.
