W Senbon-Nishiki Unfiltered Nama Sake
Sake Brewer: Watanabe Shuzoten, Hida Furukawa-cho
Rice:Sembonshiki produced in Hiroshima
Rice polishing ratio: 50
Sake meter: -3
Alcohol content: 17
Senbon-Nishiki was produced by fathering Yamada-Nishiki over a period of about 10 years on the premise that it would be produced in Hiroshima. It is a sake that deserves to be called "Nada no Nama no Nama Ippon".
What happens when such Senbon-Nishiki becomes W? ......
Well, well, again, it has become a great sake with no defects.
It has a deep and rich flavor that spreads as soon as you put it in your mouth.
I can't help but drink other Senbon-Nishiki.
Chilled to a crisp, its flavor is deep, and as it approaches room temperature, it becomes more mellow and expansive.
The great thing about W is that it accentuates the characteristics and character of the rice in a positive way.
It even makes me want to be involved in sake brewing.
