This is a special-order, non-filtered, pure rice sake from Kozonoe Shoten. I used to avoid nama-shu because of the image that it is high in alcohol content, spicy, and difficult to drink, but I was attracted by the label "limited special order nama-shu" and bought it. The first sip was not bad at all, but it was definitely spicy when cold. But it was definitely spicy when cold. I thought what should I do now that I bought a bottle, but by drinking it at room temperature, the dryness of the alcohol content disappeared and it became easier to drink. I keep it in a cold winter storage room because it needs to be kept cold. It is a delicious sake! A bottle costs about 3,000 yen.

23 year old active sake Morohaku. For those who support Tomikyushin, this sake will make you happy and say, "Is this year's sake ready?"! Muddy white sake. There is a hole in the sealing stopper to prevent explosion. It's sweet and easy to drink. The alcohol content is 15-16 degrees, so if you drink too much, "it will come~" the next day. So I have to restrain myself. Before opening this bottle, I opened a white wine that was also activated, so I was drinking it with water from the middle of the bottle. I'm going to store it in a (washed) bottle of wine and challenge myself to see how it changes. I'll drink it in 6 months. I need to get some for New Year's lol.

Purchased at the Nohmi Sake Shop, 2,700 yen. Light, refreshing taste with few peculiarities. The taste differs between room temperature and chilled. When drunk chilled, it has a "dry" taste characteristic of sake. The cost performance is excellent for a junmai daiginjo priced at 2,700 yen!

Hitachi City is Osonoe, original sake by Kozonoe Shoji. Brewed by Shiina Shuzo of Tomikushin. One square bottle costs 1,600 yen. I recently purchased some sake from Osonoe and the owner, a big fan of the store, told me that he really wanted me to try it once. It has a full-bodied, deep flavor due to its slightly higher alcohol content of 15-16 degrees. It is a completely different sake from the brewer Shiina Shuzo's Fukushin. I am sorry for the expression, but Manka is like "sake with a wild taste"? So, I added a little kabosu, which I thought was a bad idea but was having trouble finding a use for. It turned out to be an easy-drinking sake! I enjoy it cold, but I think it would go better with "hot sake". It's September now, but maybe I should try heating it up?

Purchased at Kozonoe Shoji Osonoe in Wakaba-machi, Hitachi City. A four-part bottle is priced at 1,660 yen. It was served cold. Wow, it is delicious. It has the sweetness of rice and a refreshing taste. Even though it is sake, it is fruity. The sashimi and smoked hamo (hamo smelt) that we had together with the sake were very tasty. I think I drank at least one gou of sake after opening the first bottle. The white wine we had at the same time was a bit hazy. The father of Osonoe-san enthusiastically recommended this bottle. It was indeed a delicious sake!

Purchased at Benimaru, 1,200 yen. A four-part bottle. I tried it cold. The sake degree +5 and acidity of 1.8 reminded me of a dry taste. When I drank it cold, it was surprisingly not so dry. It is smooth at a low temperature, but as the temperature rises, the flavor becomes richer and richer. The last Fuji Taikan was not so good, but this sake is a junmai ginjo and a limited edition, so it was a delicious sake!

Shoroku Junmai Ginjo from Sasame Sohei Shoten, the third and final bottle of Kasama sake purchased in Kasama during the May holidays. Chilled in the refrigerator before opening. It is an easy-drinking sake with a moderate alcohol content followed by a hint of sweetness. It is not too spicy, yet not too sweet either. It is a sake with just the right depth of nostalgia, so you can't help but finish the sake.

Kasama's local sake obtained at the 22nd Touhoku Festival, the second! First, it is sipped at room temperature. It is easy to drink and the sake goes down your throat easily. However, after a few sips, you will notice that it has a deep richness. There is a danger of pouring as many glasses as possible. I decided to be patient and drink it a little chilled. I tasted it chilled. The sweetness characteristic of sake stands out. It is light and easy to drink. The "richness" of the sake was overshadowed by the fact that it was chilled. It is delicious either chilled or at room temperature!

Purchased at the usual Nohnomi Sake Shop, 2,750 yen. 22 May sake. The owner said it was another brand of Hirotogawa? The owner said it was another brand of Hirotogawa sake. Sake from Ten-ei-mura in Fukushima. First, it was served at room temperature. It has a nice sweetness with a tangy spiciness. It has no strange peculiarities and can be drunk continuously. I thought that a sake with this kind of flavor would be even better when chilled, so I decided to replace the bottle with a four-pack and refrigerate it. It is easier to drink when chilled. This sake also feels slightly dry (to me). It is easy to drink, so I keep pouring more and more. It's a very troublesome sake (lol).

When I stopped by the supermarket, I found sake wrapped in newspaper and bought it, attracted by the newspaper. Well, we had just run out of sake. I opened the bottle at room temperature. I got the impression that the sake had a wild taste with a bit of a tangy flavor compared to the sake I usually buy. I will refrigerate it for a day before drinking. So we had it chilled. The wild taste at room temperature is gone, but it is still a dry sake as described.

Purchased at the usual Nohmi Sake Shop, 2,970 yen per bottle. Purchased because it is a sake from Mito, Ibaraki Prefecture and recommended by the owner. After buying it, I looked at the label on the back again and found it to be quite high at 18% alcohol by volume. This was a very dry sake! As I expected, it was more than dry enough for me. But as the temperature rises a bit, I can taste a little sweetness after the spiciness of the higher alcohol content. No matter how many times I drink it, it's still a spicy sake with high alcohol content, lol.

Junmai Ginjo of Fukushin, light nigori. The cherry and pink label evokes a spring-only product. It is bottled from a slightly cloudy portion called arabashiri, so it is slightly cloudy when poured into a cup. It has 16% alcohol by volume and +1 sake, so it feels spicy to me. After this spiciness, the unique sweetness of sake appears. Easy to drink sake!

Ran-no-yu "Sakura-kei" Junmai Ginjo-shu, a sake received from a friend of my wife's. My wife's friend is related to the brewer, Yamasei Shuzo, and we have ordered from them on the Internet before. We are very happy to receive this sake! The first sip is sweet, as is typical of today's sake, but then the spiciness characteristic of this brewery spreads in the mouth. There is no indication of the sake level, but it seems to be on the positive side. The alcohol content is high at 16~17 degrees. It is close to the original sake, which is the specialty of Yamanari Shuzo. I wonder if you can register "Yamanari Shuzo" in this app.

I thought it would be spicy with a sake content of +2, but it's a refreshing sake that doesn't feel spicy. Well, it's a very tasty sake! It's delicious!

Shirakawa-go Nigori-shu is available in every store, and I bought it because of the sake feature in the March 2022 issue of dancyu. The ingredients are rice and malted rice, the rice is 100% domestic rice, and the milling ratio is 70%, and the specifications are clearly stated. The taste is, well, easy to drink! But the taste is lighter than it looks. I drank it on the rocks with ice. It was so easy to drink that I went on drinking until I was about 1cm below the label. However, to be clear, the local nigorizake was better. Tomorrow is the first day of a three-day weekend, so that's all I have time for today.

This sake was recommended to us by the owner, who said that it was well received when he opened it at New Year's. It is a tangy, dry sake that is light on the palate. It has an alcohol content of 16~17 degrees and a sake strength of +1, so if you drink it at room temperature (stored outside in a shed in winter), you may feel that the alcohol content is too strong. I'll try chilling it in the refrigerator before drinking it. I wonder how rice, water, and koji can produce such a clear sake. It was served cold. On the first day, I was bothered by the sake's distinctive positive alcohol content and its unique flavor, but today, the second day, the sake's distinctive flavor has disappeared and the taste has changed to a refreshing one!
