I rarely buy daiginjo’s due to the price tag and light flavor profile. But the sweetness and ricey umami notes in this one did not disappoint. Great on its own and with sashimi. 4.25/5
a minimal, tiny fizziness can be felt on the tongue right after opening. Taste is soft umami and acidity. Big rice notes. There is also a soft fruity sweetness. Very well balanced junmai. 4.00/5
Bottle opened with a fizz. Light yellowish color. Slight fizziness on the tongue. Taste is rich. This is a juicy, tropical fruit/umami bomb. But with a clean and short finish making you ready for the next sip. Not your standard mellow autumn sake, but I love it. 4.75/5
Fresh, rich flavors. Rice sweetness. The aruten gives it a longer touch. Bit high ABV to feel comfortable drinking a lot of. Taste as good if not even better after 2 weeks of opening. 4.25/5
Another masterpiece from Denshu. Akita-Komachi. Touch of fizziness on the tongue right after opening. Rice umami and sweetness in pefect harmony. Apple, banana notes. Finish is clean with a refreshing acidity. 4.50/5
Rich sweetness/umami bomb. Ripe tropical fruit notes. At the same time, a clean finish making it extremely drinkable. The Takagi Shuzo influence on this brand can be felt. 4.50/5
