Love is heavy. I have a coworker who probably adores me insanely on a regular basis. We've been doing the same job since I joined the company, and we're the most rotten of friends. We have known each other long enough to be able to say lines like, "We are friends in arms. I think of him as a comrade-in-arms, and he is like a best friend I have made since I started working. But love is heavy. I think it's because we're not comfortable with each other, and when we open our mouths, we talk hatefully about each other, he spreads bad news about me without my permission, and I notice that he knows what I had for dinner last night. I'm probably the only one who can forgive me for teasing him with that sense of distance. So I went to Mizonokuchi for a drink at his invitation. We had some time before our meeting, so we went to this restaurant for the first time in a while. They said they had started to deal with new Hishiko. I had no choice but to buy it. It was fire-roasted, so the piquancy was moderate, but it was juicy enough. It is dark and delicious. It has a refreshing greefiness to it. Delicious. We had a drinking party with people I'm not familiar with except for this guy. Don't invite me to such a place, octopus.
