CHUIN SASHIDURI (celebrating Hirupeko's passing of SAKE DIPLOMA) ⑤.
The SAKE club is held on the second Saturday of every month at chuin with a specific theme.
This is the second sake from the most recent "Tasting Sake with Added Brewing Alcohol" event, and the second of several sakes that were served with respect to Hirupeko-san.
Wakanami's regular sake.
It seems to be sold only locally.
I've never seen this before at Kadoya-san (I've never been to Kadoya-san that often 😅).
The appearance is a slightly pale yellow-green crystal.
The aroma is sweet with a hint of koji and sourness, which is typical of sake, but sweeter.
It has a very strong, dark flavor, and my first impression was that it would go well with Fukuoka cuisine, where people like their food and soy sauce a little sweeter.
It has a firm sweetness with a hint of koji and complexity that is typical of regular sake, but it also has a sharpness that leaves it feeling flat.
It was the kind of sake I would like to drink with a glass of sesame mackerel with dinner 🐟🍶.
It has a strong flavor and aroma even though it is a regular sake," said the owner, Mr. Kawada! When I said to the owner, Mr. Kawada (who had tried many things that day and was feeling drunk), "It's mellow! It's a pure sake 😁" 😅
Oops Aladdin-san! It's "Hirupeko" not "Hirupeko's". ㊗️ regulars have been friends since we happened to be paired up at a sake tasting training session 😊 Oh, I forgot to drink Wakanami 😅.
Akita Purchased at a liquor store
The other day, I went to Akita for the first time in a while because I had a rare 2-day weekend for my work.
There I bought a couple of sake from Akita, Harukasumi and Wakanami 😅 not related to Akita.
But I had never had Wakanami before, and there was no store near me that sold it...
I asked the liquor store for a recommendation and chose this Yamadanishiki.
Nice to meet you Wakanami Brewery!
I opened the bottle right away 🍶 and it tastes great 😋!
The aroma is a little subdued, with a little gasiness and umami when you drink it, and a dry aftertaste and a little bitterness that is very delicious. ☺️
It has a clear and distinct flavor image and tastes great after the first sip! But it also has a clean aftertaste! 😆
I can't stop drinking this 🍶.
I personally think it's a taste that sticks out to my taste buds 🤔I wonder if there are any more stores near me that carry it? I'd like to find a place that carries it and try some of the others 😄.
Thank you very much for the food!
I was hesitant because of the price... but the clerk who treats me well told me it was the best of the year 🍶... I bought it immediately 😆.
Melon type
It's not as piquant as Wakanami's Jungin, but the flavor is better.
No bitterness in the finish and the Yamadanishiki lingers and disappears 🫥.
It's delicious 😋😋.
Jungin Omachi
Sweetness. It is moderately juicy, but the juiciness typical of Wakanami is restrained. The ripples of sweetness are gentle. Good mid-palate flavor. 86 points.
Sweetness: 2.6
Acidity: 3
Dryness:2.5
Hinted aroma:2.7
Junmai Ginjo Omachi
Distant, really distant bitterness, but gentle sweetness is the first impression.
There is also a sweetness of rice and a sourness that may keep you from getting tired of drinking it.
I love it 110 points ♥
[Introduction]
The taste of the sake is a gentle wave, and the lingering aftertaste will make you feel as if you are drifting on a gentle wave. It is a perfect sake for a meal that is not too assertive.
It has a delicious mouthfeel similar to carbonation. It does not linger, but has a slight aftertaste.
This weekend we enjoyed a freshly pressed Chardonnay (a winery exclusive) from Kikuka Winery, which we visited last weekend 🥂.
It's been a while since I've had a good glass of wine, but wine is good too!
Kikuka wine is made from 🍇 grapes grown in Kikuka-cho, Yamaga City, Kumamoto, and is quite popular!
If you see it, please try it!
I also visited an event to see an artificial sea of clouds at Kumamoto Castle.
It was lit up and there were quite a lot of people there at night 😱.
I took pictures while getting squashed!
After returning from the stroll, I opened a bottle of this Wakanami!
It's from the neighboring city of Fukuoka... but you won't find it anywhere near here 😭.
I popped it in with the other sakes!
It smells like 🍇 when you put it in your mouth.
The sweetness and sourness is followed by a spiciness!
The overall flavor is well balanced and makes the cup go down 😋.
I have to go to Hakata at the end of this month, so I have to get Wakanami!
Good morning, tomo 😃
I've been wanting to drink Wakanami for a while now. ☺️ Is it still hard to get it unless you are in Fukuoka?
I recently learned that there is such a thing as nigori wine, and as a nigorist, I am very curious about it 🍷.
Hi Aladdin!
Wakanami is delicious 🥰It's a neighboring prefecture, but I can't seem to find it for sale in Kumamoto 😭I wonder if we can get a special distributor 😂.
Nigori wine 😳I'm curious about that 😋.
Good evening, TOMO-san.
I never knew they make wine in Yamaga.
I only know about the Lantern Festival 😂.
Artificial sea of clouds is beautiful.
I want to visit Kumamoto for the first time since elementary school 😊.
