Hi, jiiiii!
Koueikiku is delicious 😋.
And the Dusk Orange was one of those bottles where I was surprised how they could get such a great taste from the ingredients 😲.
Good aroma. Sourness and sweetness, a little like a light Koei Kiku. There is also a light color. It has a special junmai label, which is rare for Koei-Kiku. It seems to be a year-round sake, and they also sell a hi-ire version.
It took me about three weeks to finish it. I never drink sake two days a week, I travel a lot, and I only drink about one cup a day to begin with. I kept it in the fridge so the taste didn't go to the weird side and it tasted good all the way through. You won't regret buying this Kouei Kiku in a bottle.

The first half of the bottle was not fire-roasted, but as it continued to be drunk, it became mellower and more delicious. The first half of the bottle had a taste that did not seem to be fire-roasted, but as you continue to drink it, you can now taste a mellowness, which is again delicious. And when it is passed around in the mouth, the bitterness can also be felt and it is delicious again. Anyway, it is a delicious sake.
Yogurt-like aroma.
When you drink it, it has a calmness that is typical of fire-roasted wines,
soft, juicy, and fresh.
It is citrus-like.
Clear acidity and gentle sweetness.
It finishes with a slight bitterness.
It is not tiring to drink.

Kouei Kiku Summer Sake
Slightly effervescent on opening.
The taste is a little less than refreshing.
A refreshing sweetness and astringency comes out day by day.
It's a nice taste 😋 and delicious!
It made me want to drink Snoqualmie!
My favorite *4/5
Noon Crescent by Kouei Chrysanthemum
Sake with Ginpu🌾🍶.
The top aroma is a sweet aroma of rice with a hint of acidity.
The mouthfeel is slightly carbonated with a refreshing acidity and a juicy, juicy flavor.
Juicy sweetness with refreshing acidity.
There is also a slightly woody flavor.
Slight holo-bitterness and a sense of cleanliness.
It was delicious🍶✨️
Kouei Chrysanthemum Lake of Happiness -Lacus Felicitatis- Madeira Barrel Aged
Aged in Madeira barrels
I thought it was a bourbon whiskey barrel!
It is so thick and rich, with a sweetness at the end.
I heard that this sake brewery originally made white, acidic sake.
They also make this kind of sake!
The long-awaited series of barrel-aged sake from Koei-Kiku, which aims to "create a new world of sake never before seen in the world," is finally being released simultaneously.
◆Madeira barrels: These barrels are derived from Madeira wine in Portugal and are characterized by a sweet, dense aroma of ripe dried fruits. It has a slight caramelized bitterness and a long, lingering finish.
◆Pedro Ximenez Casks: Casks of Pedro Ximenez (PX), a very sweet Spanish sherry. The deep brown sugar-like richness and the rich sweetness of raisins and prunes are blended into sake, giving it a rich dessert wine-like finish.
◆Oloroso casks: We use casks from Oloroso, a dry Spanish sherry. The aroma of roasted nuts, honey and vanilla is impressive. The moderately rich and dry finish gives a firm structure to the luscious impression.
I'm going to have a lunch meeting with my classmates.
Usual lunch meeting with classmates.
This restaurant has a nice selection of sake 🤲.
We will have it during the day!
Asked for a refreshing summer brand, I decided to go with Koei Kiku 😊.
The aroma is fruity and soothing...
The taste is fruity and soothing 🌸.
Delicious, it was my favorite taste!
Sake in summer is nice and cool in the sun!

The pong was big when I opened the package, but it did not overflow.
The taste is easy to drink like a ramune and the aroma is very gentle. I found myself almost drinking two pints, so I stopped at one.
The first thing that hits you when you open the bottle is the aroma.
Sweet and fruity, it is juicy like a lychee on the palate.
The acidity and umami spread slowly, and the aftertaste is refreshing.
The slight piquancy accentuates the taste, making it a perfect bottle for a hot day.
How can such a fruity flavor be produced with only rice, koji, and water?
Kouei Kiku, you're not just an ordinary guy after all 🍶✨.
A friend of mine from Saga is going to India for a post, so I chose this Harujion as a bottle for his send-off party.
I paired it with striped hokke, pickled Chinese cabbage, and boiled qinggengcai.
They all complemented the juiciness and freshness of this sake.
It was a night when the loneliness of sending off the guests and the tenderness of the sake sunk in.
Good evening, Kojikoji😄.
The choice of Saga's Koei Chrysanthemum for the farewell party of your friend from Saga is very poignant. I am sure it will be an unforgettable taste of memories. ☺️
I hope we can welcome you again with Koei Chrysanthemum when you come back home again. ✈️
Thank you for your comment, HinaHanaMama!
It will be three years before my friend returns to Japan. I will definitely welcome them with sake from Saga!
When I carefully removed the plastic cover with caution to open the bottle, it immediately flew off and I failed to open the bottle! There is an ooze and it must have fermented in the bottle considerably. The aroma is mild, but the subtle sourness and bitterness linger in the aftertaste of this adult Calpis soda!
