Koei Kiku is a brand that La jomon has recently started a relationship with. At one time there was only a 1-sho bottle available, and I hesitated, but when the 4-gou bottle was restocked, I bought it without hesitation! As the owner said, it was fresh! The gassiness is modest. The freshness is followed by a fresh and refreshing sweetness. Slight bitterness in the aftertaste. It's a delicious liquid 🫠.
Looks like it would be suitable for a sacred place like a sacred sake.
Actually, I made a big mistake. I only looked at the label and didn't realize it was a draft sake and left it in the car for about a day on a warm Sunday💦I was nervous to see what would happen to it, but what if it was actually even better than this 😵.

It is a clear, unfiltered, unfiltered, undiluted sake. It has a fruity and elegant aroma like mild white grapes. It has a good balance of clean acidity, gentle sweetness, and deep umami.
Koei Kiku Gekko" was purchased with the explanation that it is an excellent variety of sake rice called Hachitan-Nishiki, which is on par with Yamadanishiki and Omachi, the most famous sake rice in Japan.
