Yesterday, I enjoyed the sake warmed to lukewarm.
I may have drunk a little too much this week, but I will drink again today.
But after drinking one cup of Ding-san, it was gone, and I wanted to drink some more, so I decided to have a can of sake.
This is the first sake from the brewery I got at a souvenir shop on my trip to Toyama. Fumikiku Special Junmai Sake by Fumikiku Shuzo.
Let's start with the sake.
First, the aroma. The aroma is not so strong.
It has a refreshing taste in the mouth.
The spiciness spreads quickly, which is probably why it is so refreshing.
The spiciness is followed by a hint of sweetness, and then a bitterness.
The lingering taste is well-balanced between spiciness and sweetness.
This sake is so beautiful that it is hard to believe that it is a special pure rice sake. I was surprised in a good way because I started drinking it with the image of a traditional sake.
Well, we enjoyed it very much today.
Good evening, ma-ki-san 🌒.
I'm sure a can is perfect for when you want a little bit more. I'll keep some on hand too 😁.
I like the Toyama sake. I've only had Haneya from the same brewery in Toyama. I'd like to try some of the others 😊.
Good evening, ma-ki-san ^_^.
It sure would be nice to have a can of sake when you feel like you don't want to drink 😊.
I'll be in Chiba myself and see if I can get some good stuff 😁.
Good morning, ma-ki-😃!
Fumikiku! We got our first bottle this year 🤗I see 🧐 maybe what we should have in case of emergency is not a low alu but a single can 😁.
Good morning, ma-ki--san😃I hope you had a relaxing holiday with sake. Sake is the best drink for vacations! And I drink too much😅I think it might be the same for everyone at Sake-no-wa 😆I also drank too much over the holidays💦.
Thank you for your comment, Maru.
Yes, it is! It was a single can that I got as a souvenir without a brewery tour, but it's very useful: ⤴️
I wish I had bought more!
Toyama I was able to drink a lot of sake this time! I hope you will too, Maru-san!
Thanks for your comment Manta.
Yes, it is. This is the first time I bought it and it tastes great and is useful when I want to drink a little ⤴️
I'm looking forward to your post if you find another good one 😊.
Thank you Jay & Nobby for your comments.
Was this the first bottle of this year for this brewery: ⤴️
I think a single can would be too much for Mr. & Mrs. Jay & Nobby 😁✨✨.
But it's helpful and fun to have 🎵
Thank you for your comment, HinaHanaMama.
I drank somewhat too much for me this week 💧.
I know you were celebrating ⤴️
These weekends where you end up drinking too much are good sometimes 😁✨✨.
Good evening, ma-ki-san 🦉.
I like Haneya, so I've always been curious about it, but I haven't tasted it yet😅I like the one-gou can for both easy drinking and trying the flavors! I'll be sure to check out the gift shop 😊.
Thanks for your comment, Pon.
I just found out that I'm not the first brewery here💧.
Haneya is delicious ⤴️
Pon-chan, if you get a chance, please give it a try 😊.
I found this restaurant during a trip to Toyohashi.
Perhaps it is because it is a hiyaoroshi, but compared to Haneya, it is less showy and has a more subdued taste.
It has a deliciously rounded and mellow rice flavor.
The taste is like 5:5 capueti and 5:5 saxo.
The low alcohol content is quite refreshing.
No punch of unfiltered raw sake.
It's like a cool plum water.
This is good 👌
Sake I drank in Toyama (3)
I had drunk Haneya a few times, but never got around to trying Fumikiku, so I bought it.
It was easy to drink! (I was tongue-tied when I drank it, so I only have this memory...)
In Toyama, you can find sake (small bottles) from various Toyama sake breweries at train stations and souvenir shops, and now they are all hiyaoroshi and seasonally appropriate, so it's easy to pick up something in season 🍶.
