On a business trip to Nagoya this week, I stopped by Shusendo Horiichi and bought this!
It's exactly what it says on the bottle: "grapefruit-like acidity, nigori sweetness, crisp and light."
I really like the taste!
I'm glad I bought two bottles!
We drank it out last year and enjoyed it, and this year we drank it at home.
100% Ichihozumi from Akita Prefecture
Rice polishing ratio 60
Alcohol 14%.
This is it! The acidic aroma reminds us of the sweet and sour taste of Maruhi.
When you drink it, the balance between acidity and sweet-savory bitterness is very good!
It is juicy, drinkable and delicious as only autumn sake can be. ❣️
On the second or third day, the sweetness increases↑ and it is even juicier: ❣️
The label on the back of the bottle says that the sweetness is moderate, but due to the good balance, it doesn't feel that way compared to other Maruhis, or at least I can't tell 😂.
It was delicious all through the 3 days.
I've had 5 bottles this season, and I'm torn between Shiboritate, Limited Nama Sake, and Hiyoroshi 💦.
All 5 bottles have the sweet and sour taste that is typical of Maruhi, so they are all delicious 😊.
Hopefully next season I can try the ones I haven't yet 🙄🙄.

Comparison of last year's and this year's Maruhi Nigori.
I bought two bottles of last year's and laid one down for this purpose.
This year's was more umami, while last year's was a little more relaxed and had a little more alcohol, probably due to being laid down.
But the difference is so big that I have to force myself to find the difference, so I think I'll just have one bottle from next year onward.

I was completely captivated by Marubi, which I drank before, because it was so delicious.
The balance of acidity and sweetness is very pleasant. I bought it.
I also drank the Yamahai Junmai test brew, but Marutobi was by far my favorite.
For those who like sourness, this is a must have.

The sake is brewed with 60% polished rice of "Ichihodzumi" produced in Akita Prefecture.
Brewed with the multi-acidic yeast No. 77.
It has a gentle apple-like aroma, mellow
mellow rice flavor, refreshing acidity, and a clean, light taste.
It has a light and refreshing taste.
#Nihon-shu
It is moderately sweet and has a rounded acidity.
It really felt right in the middle of sweet and sour!
I wonder if it has aged a bit?

The second or third day, the sourness remains the same but the sweetness increases a little↑
The bitterness has decreased and it is easier to drink.
The taste is more integrated and I like it better than when it was just opened.
It has a strong flavor, but the acidity makes it refreshing to drink!
It went better with spiced curry than with chilled oden.
The sake is -15, but it's probably because it's the most acidic Maruhi I've ever tasted.
I don't like sourness, but the fact that it's just on the edge of sourness makes it a great summer sake👍.
