ORIGAMI Slightly Active Yume-Ginko
The lid flew off just by removing the outer lid!
As expected, it has a strong effervescence.
Sourness is clear, and it ends with a gentle sweetness.
Delicious!
The second day, the lid also pops open!
It has a rich, mellow, umami mouthfeel while retaining, or rather strengthening, the gorgeous fruity flavor that is typical of the Oku region.
And yet it leaves a sweet and sour aftertaste.
The alcohol content of 18 degrees is surprising!

Concept Workers Selection Oku THE MOON Yumeginko Orikagarami Slightly Activated Nama
Let's drink something we've never had before!
I knew that Sake no Oikawa in Chiba sold this sparkling wine, but I had never seen it before 🧐 so I picked it up without even looking at the label😳‼️
I thought 🤗 and looked at the label...hmmm⁉️ yeah 😳 it says it's 18.5 degrees 😱 this is the one that could sink you if you don't take it to heart 😵.
And so, our first Mistress...
Well, 18.5 degrees is nothing compared to Mistress Nobby, who has reached the stage of being an expert at 🙂↔️ 🤭.
I'll make love to you
As you can see on the bottle opening warning (⚠️), the bubbles were strong and I repeatedly opened and closed the bottle to enjoy the dance of the cucumbers!
The aroma is mild when poured into a Riedel glass 😌😌.
I thought it would be refreshing when I took a sip, but it tasted quite dry with a bitter aftertaste and a 😵💫 thick, high alcohol taste 😚.
I couldn't finish it 😨 and put the lid on. Maybe the first time I didn't finish a sparkling 😅.
And the other day, Nobby went to his parents' house for a three-day weekend 😢Jay drank a little bit of the rest every day 🙂 It was still dry and thick even a little bit, but it was just right for a quick drink 😙.
I heard they also have a 13 degree sparkling one, so I'd like to try that!
Hi Jay & Nobby 😃.
Everything is unique including the alcohol content, the rice, the sparkling, and the milling ratio 😅.
I'm curious about the results of this combination and would like to compare it with 13 degrees 😙.
Good evening Dr. Jay & Dr. Nobby 🍶.
I didn't know that Oku🍶sama had that many degrees 😳⁉️
I was a little curious about this series I've never had a drink too...
Your review is very helpful 🙇♂️
Good evening Jay & Nobby😄!
18.5 degrees in sparkling is very challenging 💦 I'm sure I'll never make it 🤣.
Oku has a young toji! One of the breweries I'm looking forward to seeing grow in the future 🥰.
Good evening, Master J&N 😃.
I want to drink this label Okusama 🤤.
And it's 18.5 degrees sparkling... ⁉️
If I get carried away and drink too much, I might tip over: 😵💫
But I'd love to drink it 👀
Good evening, Jay & Nobby😄.
I drank in the back at a yakitori restaurant but not sparkling 😳 but I'm curious in a way that Jay & Nobby, who drink a lot of different drinks with sparkling, are chivvies🤣.
Good evening Jay & Nobby 😃.
The back is delicious 😋I thought sparkling was low in degrees, but I didn't realize it was 18.5 degrees 😅The ease of drinking the bubbles will fool you and leave you goofing off the next day😇.
Good evening, Jay & Nobby!
I'm interested in the 18.5 degree sparkling 😚 but I think the sparkling type doesn't seem to mesh well with some of the other bubbles I'm looking for to refresh myself 😅Oikawa-san, I also visited yesterday: 👍️
Good morning, Jay & Nobby 😀
I've seen it a few times at the store and tried to pick it up, but each time I saw something else I really wanted to take home and had no luck 🤣.
I will definitely give it a try 😇
Good morning, Jay & Nobby 🌞A sparkling that is high in alcohol and comes with a cough 😅If that's the case with you two, it's still a territory I haven't ventured into yet 🍶It would be fun to compare a 13 degree sparkling with a sparkling ✨.
Hi Jay & Nobby.
I've never looked at the label seriously, but the word rice in the back makes a statement 😅 Sparkling and dry sounds like a high level for me, but it's good. ☺️
Jay & Nobby Good evening😊I've had Oku too and I have an image that it was delicious. I think the alcohol content was not that high. But high alcohol in sparkling is great.
Good morning Jay & Nobby ☀☀☀.
Considering the "Oku Sparkling Light" I drank before was 13%, I'm gutted😅.
I'm interested in the purple label "Oku THE MOON ORIGAMI Slightly Active"!
Hi soumacho 😃
I bought it at a quick glance without looking at the label😅It is indeed a medium spec! I'd like to feel the difference between it and the light version 😋.
Hello Mr. Muro 😃
I know it's common that the wife is the strong one 😆 but this wife has not posted many sakes, maybe she was high al by chance 🤔 Try her 👋
Hi Hina Hana Mama 😃.
I thought it was a light drink 😙😅I was surprised when I saw the label before drinking it 🫢.
Oh! I see 🤗we want to keep an eye on it too!
Hi ichiro18 😃
It's nice to try it out for a drink outside...for sure! Spark is always a blink-and-you'll-miss-it bottle, so maybe it's a special one in a way 🤗.
Hi Hiro, konnichiwa 😃.
I wanted to drink a different wife too 😋.
I know, right? But the bubbles didn't fool me and I was able to put the lid on halfway through, which is something an adult can afford to do: 🙂↔️
Hello, freelancer first generation man 😃.
It has a unique taste with a bitter al from a refreshing taste 😚 Mr. Osogawa is very useful because you can't find it at the liquor store in Utsunomiya 🤗.
Hi Sashiu 😃
I just happened to pick up a bottle of Koalspark 😅The label on the back says "We want to make the strongest sake possible" 🤗I have to read the label carefully.
Hi Gyve 😃
Oooh! That's it ‼️ I went back and looked at Gyve's post 🤗 I'm curious about that 13 degree spark, but I'm also curious about that THE MOON 🤗
Mr. Jay & Mrs. Nobby
Good evening...
My wife once had a summer sake, it was light cloudy and shwashy 🫧I think it was about 16 degrees 🤔My wife has an image of shwashy sake....... my wife...............................
Good evening Jay & Nobby, ☺️
I've never had it ma'am, but 18.5 degrees for a sparkling is pretty badass 💧 I know how you feel about gently putting the lid on it lol.
The label is so striking I would buy it on impulse if I saw it😊.
Good morning, Jay & Nobby 😃An undrinkable sparkling, what an interesting quest 😆 18.5 degrees goes wild in your mouth and stomach 💦The way you drink and enjoy a little bit at a time is like an adult drinker👍.
Good evening, Jay & Nobby.
I had a bottle of Oku sake a long time ago, and it left a great impression on me.
There was a butterfly on the label, and the butterfly flew across the sea, from Amami-Oshima to Okinawa, then to Taiwan and so on.
Good evening Joker 😃 sorry for the late response😅.
Yes 💦 it was a rare experience to drink sparkling over a few days 😅.
Really! The label looks like it could suck you into a black hole 😄.
Good evening, Wakata 😃 sorry for the late response😅.
If this was a drink out quest you would have to call in the brave ones 😄we are like slimes 😅we couldn't clear it 😆well, that's the adult thing to do 😉.
Good evening superbebe😃 sorry for the late response😅.
Wow...what a magnificent story ! Magnificent story ‼️ It's great that sake 🍶 is spreading all over the world 🤗.
CWS makes me want to buy it 😆.
So, this time it's the CWS in the back, an ogara-mi sake made with a rice called Wakamizu!
It has just the right amount of slight bubbles and a creamy texture on the tongue 👅.
Refreshing and drinkable!
It is a good summer sake that is not too spicy, and you can enjoy both the taste and the smoothness of the sake 😋.
As expected of Okusama: 🙆♂️
Hi Hitto😃
We, the wife had never had a drink 🥲 but I found a spark🧨 in Chiba last time 😊It's waiting in our fridge 🤗Looking forward to drinking it with you 🤗We look forward to drinking it with you ‼️
Good evening, Master J&N 😀.
I'm drooling just imagining the shwash of your wife's sama 🤤🤤.
It must definitely be delicious👍.
Looking forward to checking in 👀♪
Hi, good morning 🐥.
Ok, I've never had it and was thinking of starting with CWS 😊It looks easy to drink 😻This one doesn't seem to be available anymore, but I'd like to try it in the other 🎶.
Hi Pon, good evening😊.
I've had two bottles of Oku so far, but both are CWS and the regular product is not sold near me and I've never had it 🥲.
I am sure both are delicious.
If you can find them, please give them a try 🫱.
This is the first time for Oku to try it, but it was recommended by a sake friend. The Yume-Ginko variety used here was developed in Aichi Prefecture and is a cross between Yamadanishiki and Wakamizu. It is a late rice variety with large grains that can withstand high rice polishing, and is said to produce a refreshing and flavorful sake. The liquor store's sales pitch was "adult calpis with the sweetness of melon," but what was it?
When opened, it was so carbonated that the lid blew off. The taste is fruity sweetness with a little less acidity, like pear and melon. It is thick enough because it contains a cage. It is a melon calpis soda with low acidity, silky and fruity.
A little bitterness comes later on, so the taste is well balanced. It seems to go well with food.
While refreshing and easy to drink in summer, the aroma and sweetness are well preserved.
It is a summer sake that should be drunk cooled down to the perfect temperature.
Serve with sashimi as a side dish.
Fresh aroma ✨
Fresh and acidic 😆.
Sour and bitter like grapefruit 🍋.
Tingling sensation of Oli is a pleasant stimulus 👍️
Overall fresh and mellow taste 😋.
