Around Lake Biwa by JR I saw the label at Isetan and decided that this was definitely a drinking iron. I bought a ticket for one station (150 yen) and it's a 3 hour trip in the opposite direction. You can't get off though💦. Oh, it's not a kisser 😁. When we changed to the Kosei Line at Omi Shiotsu, the number of passengers had decreased, so we had lunch with bento and a cup of sake. Classic taste. It was as tasty as the char siu pork rice in the bento. I regret that it was not an ekiben 😢. After the bento, I had the sweet shrimp beaver and â This beaver is milder than the curry flavor, so it's even more unstoppable 😆. It tastes great with alcohol, but I think I'll have a beer with this one 🍺... The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed the view of Lake Biwa, the snow-covered mountains, rape blossoms, and Lake Yogo ✨. We also took our time to see the sake wa 😁.

Good evening, Pon-chan ^_^ You did not go to Kyoto 😁. I started to compare with curry flavor, but what beaver? Oh, no kisser!

Good evening, Manta-san 🦉. I didn't go to Kyoto 😆 I changed trains at Yamashina 😁 so it's not a kisser since it's allowed to take the roundabout 😉. Beaver is a crunchy and tasty snack from Ishikawa 〰!

Awesome ❣️ Pon! Great trip - ⤴️⤴️ I want to take the same route for drinking 😍😍 but 3 hours, that wasn't enough booze, right? 😆😆

Good morning, Pon 😀 When you see this label, you have no choice but to drink it 😀. And the fact that you chose beaver as an accompaniment is quintessential 😀. My local liquor store didn't have the sweet shrimp flavor so I'd like to try it😇.

Good morning, Pon 😃. 3 hours of drinking iron for 150 yen 😚Nice idea after seeing the label👍. I was in the car with a company member from Shiga last night and we talked about this, but he didn't know you can go the other way around 😅.

Good evening, Rika! I was not in a mood to drink for half the time 😅I had to endure it 🤣. I'll bring my cap sandesi next time so that I can drink it as soon as it's available 🤣❣️

Good evening, Yasube! This beaver was sold at the 7-Eleven convenience store in the station to commemorate the opening of the Hokuriku Shinkansen bullet train to Tsuruga!

Good evening Jay and Nobby 🦉. I thought it might be dark under the lamp 😊I thought I could do something like this right after I came to Shiga 😆This time I rode the bullet train to Osaka, thinking I might not be able to do it if it extends to Osaka 😊.

Good evening, T.KISO🦉. It must have been tough 💦 to drive all this way. When I was a kid, I thought it was the ocean 🤣.

Good evening, Rafa. I couldn't buy a boxed lunch at the station because it was the first day of the week 😅. I have been on the circle train to kill some time 😁 but it takes courage to drink in the train 🤣.

Good evening, Pon-chan. When I have free time, I like to go around Lake Biwa, and I want to stop the Kosei Line 3-section at any cost 😤It's hard to go home without a train in winter. ☃️ Lake Biwa is most beautiful in the north of the lake, and Kaizu-Osaki is great in the spring 🌸✨.

Peco, good evening 🦉. My husband and I were talking the other day about what would happen if we became a 3-section company. I was talking with my husband the other day. I don't blame him if we can't go around Lake Biwa, but I was wondering if the people on the Kosai line will be able to live there.

Hi Ponchan 😃 I love trains too! I'm not a fan of one-cups though 😰. 150 yen backwards I didn't know that 😁. I want to try one-cup, ekiben on train 😁. I thought beavers were in Fukui prefecture? I thought it was in Ishikawa 😰.
Japanese>English
ポンちゃん
Ao thanks for your help here too😊 I went backwards for the first time in about 20 years 🙄 There are many new rapid trains now, so it's faster! It might be more relaxing to take a normal train 🙄. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to buy a beaver, but they sell them in Shiga too 😁.

Hi Pon, hello here too ☀. I'm jealous that you can do this because you're on the beltway and you have a great view and can drink in a flash ✨. I've done something similar before on a highway SA tour, but I can't drink 🤣.

Thank you very much, Gyve 😊. You can do the highway for the price of one section? How fascinating😻I love food and souvenirs at SA/PAs, so I'd love to do it without alcohol ❣️

Good evening, Pon😄. You can go around Lake Biwa by 🚃🥹! I love the idea of a leisurely 3 hours of drinking ♡♡♡! I stayed at a hotel by the lake on a school trip in junior high school 🏨 and I remember being woken up early in the morning and taking a walk in my sleep 🤣.

Good evening, Tsubuchan! I haven't done that in 20 years 🤣I had a beer in my hand back then, so this time I'm definitely going to drink sake! I came here on a school trip in middle school 😳‼️ Lake Biwa. Didn't it look like the ocean? 😆😆

Tasted during a visit to the Fushimizu Brewery in Yellow Cherry Blossom. Bottle on the right, glass on the right. We tried it because we were told that it is only sold at direct sales outlets. 100% Yamadanishiki The aroma is subdued and elegant. In the mouth, there is a hint of soft sweetness like pear. The mouthfeel is so mild and watery that it is almost imperceptible. After the sweetness lingers in the aftertaste, it quickly clears and leaves nothing behind. The sake was crystal clear and pure. It was breathtaking.

Tasted during a visit to the Fushimizu Brewery in Yellow Cherry Blossom. Bottle is in the middle, glass is on the left. 100% Yamadanishiki. The aroma is bold, as is typical of daiginjos. On the palate, the aroma and slightly strong sweetness remind one of pineapple. The crisp acidity lingers in the aftertaste, making it very drinkable. The sake is made with a great deal of care and attention to detail.

I bought this one at Kizakura Kappa Country because I liked it so much when it was heated. This is my first time drinking hiya, and while it's meant for warming, hiya also has a very well-rounded flavor and a relatively rich body for a Fushimi Otte sake brewery, making it extremely delicious! It's also relatively rich and bodied for a Fushimi Otei sake brewery, so it's really good! Kamima was featured in a TV show called "Oyaji Kyoto Drinking"! I really want to go here! I'll have to go there when Shin Koro is destroyed!

Hmmm... I still think that blended sake looks good. I'm sure there's some Kenrishi in there, so it's a good type of sake. I hope we can keep up with the over-tourism!

Hello. Mr. Ota also emphasized in his program that it's a Kyoto atmosphere. The location is also good, with Kyoto's five Imperial Palace, Kinkakuji Temple, and Kitano Tenmangu Shrine all around! I too will make it my goal to taste the divine horse!

The yellow cherry blossom kappa can by Isao Kojima, a nostalgic artist. The initial aroma is of banana and summer tangerine. The taste is very thin, but after swallowing, a citrusy sourness emerges. Light and dry. This is the 555th one-cup, one-pack festival bottle.

Honjozo sake that seems to be mixed with 5% old ginjo sake (¡Ω-Ω-Ω) I had a bottle of Honjozo at Kouzakura Kappa Country and thought, "Yum! I saw it at a store after drinking HONZUKURI at KIZAKURA KAPPA COUNTRY and thought "Yum! So I bought it! This is very good! It has a light old sake flavor with a slight sourness when cold. It has the best character when it is lukewarm. The flavor is on the mellow side for a honjozo sake. Even at 5%, the old sake flavor is surprisingly strong.

I had a cup of hot sake at Kiyozakura Kappa Country in Fushimi for 200 yen per cup. The hot sake has an alcoholic taste, which is typical of a honjozo sake, so you get the feeling that you're drinking sake! When lukewarm, the rice-derived umami is even more apparent! It has a slightly sweet flavor. I visited many ancient tombs and shrines early in the morning, but I didn't see that many people! I went to Fushimizu Shuzo Koji at 11:00am, but there was already a long line, so I gave up and came to Kizakura and found the type of sake I really wanted to drink now! I knew that when I came to Fushimi, Honjozo and Normal Sake were calling me! I felt like an alcoholic! I feel like an alcoholic! Is it a dangerous sign that I want to drink as soon as I get to Fushimi?

Hi... I stopped by Aburinaga too, looking for some sake. I went in the morning, but it was much emptier than I imagined. Still, the Fushimizu Sake Brewery Alley was amazing!
