Timeline
Nf bapakThe menu on the file also included a three-sake set and a limited-time-only set, but if I could have one sake from each prefecture from the list, I would go there...
Here are some notes on the sake.
Kikuhime Classic Standard Goudaikyu
Sansei: Fruity, clear, acidic, delicious
Hanagaki Clear, clean, acidic, good
snow35 Deliciously refreshing
Noukaya Clear acidity
Hatsushin Classic refreshing
I preferred Sansei and Hanagaki, and my wife preferred snow35, so we chose Sansei for the check-in.
Kikuhime Daiginjo was the first one we went for because it was a famous sake we had heard about, but it was not to our liking. I still prefer modern sake, whether sweet or spicy. Nf bapakIt is a "fire-aged version of Gonyo Gonyo" (from the official Instagram) prepared for the Hokuriku Summer Sake Festival 2025 (lol).
I had a little bit of the sake highball with carbonated water in a plastic cup, and the one I liked the best was Tama-Asahi. It was more fruity and sweeter than Tengu Mai, and had a more modern taste than Seiryu Fukui.
And we received a clear file with our event flyer after filling out a questionnaire. たっつうThe last one is Hanagaki in Echizen-Ono.
I think this one may have had the most character.
It was a smooth, sweet, yet sharp and crisp drink.
I tried Wakasa's specialty, heshiko, for the first time, and it was so delicious that it made my sake go down a notch 🤣. たっつうThe second cup is Goshosen from Kanazawa.
It is a stable cup with a sweet and umami taste of rice 🌾.
It was not as dark and Ishikawa-like as you might imagine. It was also delicious! たっつうAfter work, I went to a Hokuriku antenna store in Umeda to compare sake from the three Hokuriku prefectures.
The first one was a local sake from Uozu, called Hokuyo.
It is a light and crisp sake 🍶.
It was delicious. 🙆♂️ Nf bapakOn the same day, an event was held at HOKURIKU+ in KITTE Osaka, where three premium sakes made from Sakahomare from Fukui were served.
I was lucky enough to be out that day and saw the poster. My wife had Bon and I had Ippongi.
When we asked the staff to serve us Ippongi, they complimented us on how well they knew it, and we were pleasantly surprised (laugh).
Sorry, I only remember that the Bon was a little sweeter and both were delicious.
But considering the price difference, I think I am happy enough with Ippongi. The Kinmusyo sake is 3,245 yen without the box, the Regalo with the box is 3,960 yen, and the Brahma is 5,500 yen.
The sake from Fukui that got my husband and I into the sake swamp is still delicious. Thank you very much for the sake! boukenToyama Nigori Sake Fair at KITTE? I had a drink at the Toyama Nigori Sake Fair at KITTE.
It's sweet, but in a good way.
I guess it was made by Nosaku because they said it was made in Takaoka. boukenToyama Nigori Sake Fair at KITTE? I had a drink at the Toyama Nigori Sake Fair at KITTE.
The sake I was looking for was not on the server, so I decided to drink it at the bar counter!
Not Tochigi, but Toyama's Wakakoma!
I've seen it at Tangen Shoten in Suma, but this is my first time to drink it!
It's a dry sake with a slight effervescence. I feel like I've had a similar taste somewhere before, but I can't remember where 🤔.
Maybe it's the type that's hard to drink at home😅. boukenToyama Nigori Sake Fair at KITTE? I had a drink at the Toyama Nigori Sake Fair at KITTE.
I've already had Haneya, but this was my first time to try Fumikiku!
It's refreshing and slightly sweet 😋. boukenToyama Nigori Sake Fair at KITTE? I had a drink at the Toyama Nigori Sake Fair at KITTE.
I don't know the detailed specs, but I was told it was fire-brewed.
It tasted sweet and lactic like calpis.
It was sweet and tasted like juice. boukenToyama Nigori Sake Fair at KITTE? I had a drink at the Toyama Nigori Sake Fair at KITTE.
I've already had Naekaya, but this was my first time to try Wakatsuru!
It's refreshing, but also has a lot of floral and sweet flavors.
I don't know what the specs are except that it's fire-roasted 😅. boukenToyama Nigori Sake Fair at KITTE? I had a drink at the Toyama Nigori Sake Fair at KITTE.
I've had Hayashi before, but this is my first time to drink Kurobe Gorge.
Slightly sparkling, sweet and delicious!
It doesn't have any alsobe feeling. But I wonder if this lightness is only possible with alsodé 🤔. boukenI drank Junmai Ginjo Aizan from Tateyama before, but this is Special Junmai.
There is also a Daiginjo. I guess they use Aizan a lot.
It's not sweet, but it's somewhat fruity and has a nice aroma. The aftertaste is a little spicy.
Personally, I preferred the Junmai Ginjo, which is sweeter. boukenThe first brewery
Not much of it seems to be distributed even in Fukui
Strong acidity. Lemon and orange flavor.
Tastes great cold 😋. boukenIt is the same "Hyakumangoku No Shiro" as Manzairaku.
The rice is polished to a 48% ratio, but the flavor is robust and powerful.
The latter half is quite sweet and delicious.
It is the same price as Manzairaku, but this one is more satisfying. boukenVarious Hokuriku sake tasting at KITTE 🍶.
I was going to buy Manzairaku, but the price was too high, so I tasted it.
It does have a pineapple-like aroma, but it's basically spicy and maybe too refreshing.
I'm glad I didn't buy it😅.
I probably would have regretted it if I had 💦. boukenSake made with cherry blossom yeast. I bought it because I like flower yeast. It is refreshing and has a trace of sweetness. A little floral, probably because of the floral yeast. I thought it needed a little more umami.
When I tasted another product at an antenna store before, I felt Fuku Chitose was a bit lacking, so maybe it's not a good match? boukenI have been wanting to drink Takeba since before the earthquake, and finally bought it at an antenna store.
It's an interesting sake, with a fresh and robust sweetness and acidity, while also having a strong Noto sake-like flavor.
I was surprised that it was quite juicy and sweet.
It also has a fruity taste. boukenTasted and purchased this one as well.
Sweet and tasty without feeling high alcohol content.
And a trace of nuttiness.
I can't drink a lot of it since it's 20 degrees, but I've never tasted a regular sake with such a good taste 💦.
A little like Morinori's Kamisen Unfiltered Nama Sake.
This brewery has been making only Kaisen and Kamisen for many years and has been slow to release Junmai. ジャイヴHello bouken!
Kansai is the most popular sake in my hometown 😁.
As you said, we've recently started to offer a new series of ginjo sake called "Gekizaka" and "Katakata" brewed with pesticide-free rice, so if you're interested, please feel free to check them out ✨. boukenGood evening, Mr. Gyve.
It seems you used to have a good share in the province 🤔
I've never heard of kata kata 😳
I will consider it again 😌. boukenTasted and purchased at KITTE
I drank Kagatsuru at the brewery festival last year, but this is my first time drinking it at home.
Slightly effervescent and fresh sake.
Aroma is a bit like alcohol disinfectant😅.
The moment you put it in your mouth, you can feel the sweetness. Sake that gives the impression of pushing through with freshness in a good sense. Is the acidity impressive? RecommendedContentsSectionView.title
