The menu on the file also included a three-sake set and a limited-time-only set, but if I could have one sake from each prefecture from the list, I would go there...
Here are some notes on the sake.
Kikuhime Classic Standard Goudaikyu
Sansei: Fruity, clear, acidic, delicious
Hanagaki Clear, clean, acidic, good
snow35 Deliciously refreshing
Noukaya Clear acidity
Hatsushin Classic refreshing
I preferred Sansei and Hanagaki, and my wife preferred snow35, so we chose Sansei for the check-in.
Kikuhime Daiginjo was the first one we went for because it was a famous sake we had heard about, but it was not to our liking. I still prefer modern sake, whether sweet or spicy.
