We had a sake recommended by the liquor store 🍶 here in Gunma.
It was my first time to try it!
According to the liquor store's description, it's "a little sweet" 👍.
It's pretty good 👍
I didn't feel any sweetness, but it was mildly dry 🍶🍶.
That's how I imagine it 🍶.
It starts off with a spiciness with the umami of the rice behind it, and the lingering taste is astringent and bitter👍.

It is indeed crisp on the palate, but as the description says, it is not too sharp and angular, with a nice dry taste that is full-bodied but not heavy 👍.

It was a new discovery, a nice encounter 😋. じゅにちThis sake is made by the Igarashi Sake Brewery in Hanno City, Saitama. It is brewed with sake rice produced in Saitama Prefecture called "sake musashi. In the mouth, it has a juicy flavor with a hint of sweetness and slight bitterness, while the alcohol content can be felt. The sharpness is very good. 
ぺっほBlack beef recommended by the owner of our favorite sushi restaurant. We found an unfiltered draft at our usual liquor store 😍18 degrees, so we must be prepared 💪 and today, sushi 🍣‼️
The first sip is delicious! It's good from the first sip. ❤️It's robust, firm, yet gorgeous and sharp. ‼️ I don't know what it is, but I've never been so impressed ✨The flavor is well balanced, not sharp in any way, but never light and with a strong presence. The temperature changes, and a sense of maturity also comes out! I'm sure this sake would look great on a more robust ryotei (Japanese-style restaurant) plate 💖.
Today at our house, we had O-toro medium fatty tuna, squid nigiri, and octopus sashimi. We welcomed Mr. Kurogyu with sea bream chikuwa isobe-age, mekabu and chilled tofu. ‼️ It went perfectly with soy sauce and other Japanese flavors. Since it's called beef, I wonder how it would be for steak? I'd like to try it again 🤫 if I can find fresh Mr. Kurogyu again. ‼️Thanks for the delicious sake. ❤️

The first time I drank Wakayama sake before was with "Kurogyu" of the same spec 🥰.
Wakayama/Kushimoto town is famous for [tuna], so I think it goes well with sushi, but I think it would go well with beef too!

Nothing stands out, it is highly balanced in areas other than sweet and umami.
No smell of alcohol even though it is about 19 degrees Celsius.

It is the twin of Ohroku's lineage.

flos_lingua_estKangiku is a sake brewery where all the sakes are seasonal and limited edition. That's why I don't know which one to drink lol.
I bought it when I happened to see it introduced on a YouTube channel as a recommendation for spring sake.
The aroma is rumney and apple...but it's not a cider either. It is a very popular fruity type with an additional pineapple aroma when you include it.
Despite its gorgeous aroma, it is surprisingly dry and smooth on the palate. I personally prefer this one because it is drier than you would expect from just the supernatant... lol...
When mixed with the tailings, the sweetness and umami come out and become well-balanced. This is the original form... This one seems to be more popular than the supernatant only.
Personally, I think it is best to finish it as soon as possible. 3 days is not bad, but the best condition for this sake to be at its best is 2 days. After that, I felt it was sweeter and had more of a cloying taste, so I guess many people would rather drink it that way. In general, it was very tasty! Kangiku is always great, no matter when I drink it... 

ぺっほI was curious about the Tamagawa Ice Breaker🧊💖 I found it! It was accompanied by a comment😋 from Mr. Phillip, the toji, that you should float the ice on it and enjoy the wind chime-like sound and the rich changes that the ice shows as it melts!
I thought 🤨 that it must not be too sweet since it was in Kyoto, so today we started the feast with boiled fish, somen noodles, snap pea and maitake mushroom tempura, and egg tofu 🎉!
Penguin, it's not sweet! No sourness either! The aroma is of rice, and maybe a hint of bitterness? Astringent? The aroma lingers in the nostrils, reminding me of gin (I don't know much about gin 🤫). As the ice melts and the alcohol fades, a slight sweetness emerges 💕.
I've had it with boiled fish, and tempura in tempura sauce. It really goes well together ‼️ I'm crying tears of joy 🥹🥺 because I feel like I haven't had a pairing in a long time.
Our house, so far, is mostly hors d'oeuvres, so we had a little grilled meat after this 🤣It also goes well with meat👍.

Yesterday, April 20, my husband got on the podium at an off-road motorcycle race for the first time in a long time, so the drinking couple from Saitama celebrated with a big feast on a weekday 🎊.
We have muscle aches and pains and other physical fatigue, but it's times like this that we should celebrate. ❣️
We started with sushi 🩷, then pancakes with sakura shrimps, pancetta and leeks, mozzarella salad, salted squid, and tako-wawa. We toasted 🥂 with an assortment of delicious food 🥰Jay & Nobby's recommendation, Dokuhya Sake, which is definitely amazingly delicious ❣️ inadvertently being a sparkling wine? I spilled it like a champagne fight 💦.
Since it's a sparkling wine, I think it's most often served in toasts, but I actually highly recommend reappearing for dessert❤️🍰It was exquisitely delicious with today's dessert baumkuchen 😋.
Last night the race was over and we had to travel 800 km from Hiroshima, the race venue, to Saitama, so we celebrated today, the next day. ❤️ Next race is in Nagano in May, good luck again~! Hope you can stop by the sake brewery too 🤭.
