Drinking Gifu's Local Sake 2024 in Osaka㉔
We rushed in at the end of the day to Nagaragawa's Komachi Sake Brewery.
We drank
Aged old sake Junmai Shichidan-brewed 1999BY
Polishing ratio 65%, Gifu rice, Sake degree +5
This is the same sake that we drank at last year's traveling SAKE. It has a deep sense of maturity. It's the same sake, so the impression is the same 😅.
Nagaragawa SuperFresh Junmai-Ginjo Unfiltered Nama-Shu
Polishing ratio 55% Hidahomare Sake degree -2
This sake was not on the list. The specs were taken from Okuhiroya's website.
I don't remember much about it, but it was poured after the old sake. I think it was fresh and fruity, but I couldn't tell because of the taste of the old sake in the glass 🤔.
Junmai Ginjo Unfiltered Nama Sake
Polishing ratio 55% Yamadanishiki Sake meter value +5
This one was not on the list either.
I drank this sake at last year's Traveling SAKE and later bought it at Icoma, so please see the review there 😌.
The ones I didn't drink this time are Shirakawa-go, Nihon Izumi, Miyama Kiku, and W?
The ones that didn't come to Kansai are Takejaku, Kujeranami, Hyakujuro.
I wish I could have had a bottle of Kujiranami.
I know a lot of breweries use Hidahomare, but I thought most of the tasty ones this time were Omachi again 🤔.
That's all I have to say.
Drinking Gifu's Local Sake 2024 in Osaka㉓
10 minutes to go💦.
Yamada Shoten (Sake Brewery YAMADA) in Tamakashi
We've had the Maneki Neko label draft sake in the past.
We drank
Mukashi no Mamama Special Junmai
Polishing ratio 55% Hidahomare, Sake degree +3
Hirupeko-san said it was 🍎-like.
I was too drunk to recognize the 🍎, but it tastes gentle and not as classic as it says.
I thought the 900ml bottle was classic 🤣.
Good evening, bouken. Mukashi no Manma is easy to drink, unlike the impression on the label. I like that you are enjoying Gifu sake as much as ever 😆👍I wanted to go there so badly too 😢.
Good evening, Ms. Hirupeko.
I think this was Nemuchi's choice 🤔You have a great eye for detail 😁.
It was fun to see so many warehouses I didn't know about 😊Next time I'll be sure to visit 😉.
Good evening, Mr. Matsuchiyo.
I often see 5 gou bottles of shochu, but when I see 5 gou bottles of sake, I imagine it's a sake with an unrefined label with alkalis and added sugar 😅.

Sanzenzori in Karakuchi
We drank
Sanzenzori Junmai Daiginjo
Polishing ratio 45%, Miyamanishiki, Sake meter value +12
It is quite dry at +12, but I have had only +18 or so in the past, so it was not very hot! However, the past ones I've had were all +18 or so, so it wasn't really hot.
I wonder if dry, dry sake with a high sake content is the essence of Sanzenmori.
Sanzenzori Junmai Daiginjo Koshu
Polishing ratio 45% Miyamanishiki Sake meter value +12
This is a 13-year-old version of the first one we drank, since it was made in 2013. It has an aroma of maturity, but it's not that strong, and the taste is beautiful, probably because it's a junmai daiginjo.
Drinking Gifu's Local Sake 2024 in Osaka21
Tenryo is not sold very often.
I know a place that sells it, but I can't get there.
I buy Hinoya at Nishinomiya Hankyu and know it's good.
I heard that this is the originator of the back label. I don't know anything about it.
I drank
Hinoya Junmai Ginjyo Nama Hashiro, unfiltered, raw sake
Polishing ratio 60% Hidahomare Sake degree +0.5
Deliciously fruity aftertaste
Hinoya Junmai Ginjo 55 Nama-Nagarazake
Polishing ratio 55% Hidahomare Sake meter +1
The impact of the sake's raw yeast is so strong that it doesn't leave much of an impression...
Tenryo Junmai Ginjo-Nama Nama-nihon Sake Tenroir Yamadanishiki from Gero
Polishing ratio 55%, Sake meter value +2
Aroma is gorgeous and slightly refreshing, suitable for eating...
It's quite late in the game, but the flavor of Tenryo and Shiromayumi is very impressive!
I took a picture with Mr. Mizumoto of Yoshimoto's comedian Span!
Gifu's local sake drinking 2024 in Osaka⑳(⑳)
I've seen but never bought Shiromayumi
We drank
Junmai Daiginjo unfiltered raw sake
Hidahomare -3% Sake
This is a limited edition sake for this event, which was not detailed on the list.
It was dark, with a sweet flavor that came later. Delicious 😋.
Junmai Ginjyo Hidahomare
Polishing ratio 55%, Sake meter -2
Slightly sweet with an excellent taste.
Gifu Sake Festival in Osaka (19)
The first green, which I don't remember much from the last year's Japanese Sake Festival.
I kept notes this time 😁.
I drank
Hatsuroroku Junmai Ginjo Unfiltered Nama-shu
Polishing ratio 50%, Yamadanishiki, Sake degree 0
This is the one that Yucachin-san said resembles Shinshu Kamerei. It is sweet and fruity, and it certainly resembles Shinshu Kamerei 🤔.
I like the fact that it's made with Yamadanishiki, 50% polished rice, and priced in the 1600 yen range (tax not included)!
Drinking Gifu's Local Sake 2024 in Osaka⑱.
Hirata Sake Brewery is basically a direct seller, and I don't think they have any distributors. I've only seen Ikushima Shoten selling it.
I've had a bottle of "Tobisagi" brand sake from this brewery in the past.
I drank
Hida-no-Hana, 90% pure rice sake made from Yamahai
Hidahomare, Sake meter value +3
It has a nice acidity and umami.
Junmai Ginjo Shoryunomai
Polishing ratio 50%, Gifu and Mie rice, Sake meter value +3
The note says it's just a normal taste. Maybe it didn't leave an impression...
The toji here is a former member of Minamikata's Sekai Issho.
Icoma-san said it tastes like southern style. If you want to drink the taste of the old Minamikata, you might want to try the sake here 😊.
Drinking Gifu's Local Sake 2024 in Osaka⑰.
This is also the first time to see a float.
This brewery also seems to use flower yeast!
I drank
Yamashimo Summer Ginjo Kuradashi Ichiban
Polishing ratio 60% Akita-Komachi, Sake degree +3
Abelia yeast is used.
Delicious but a little off-flavored...
Yamashimo Unfiltered Nama-Shu Hyokami
Polishing ratio 65%, processed rice for sake brewing Sake meter rating -1
Sake made with Nadeshiko yeast.
This one also has a slight off-flavor.
It's a shame, because the taste itself was good...
Around the Hyakushun booth, I was approached by the owner of the sake bar that Nemuchi and I visited last year after the Japanese Sake Festival.
I've only been to the bar once, but I met him at the Sake-1 Grand Prix and again at this event 😁.
I couldn't go to the bar due to events and private events in the bar, and the bar was closed last month 😢.
I got a flyer that they have regular events at another location, but it's a weekday so it's tough to go there 🤔.
Drinking Gifu's Local Sake 2024 in Osaka⑯.
Kosaka Sake Brewery's booth in Hyakushun
Mr. Nemuchi surprisingly said he had never had it before.
I told him that the one he had had in the past was sweet and delicious, and that he would probably like it.
What did he drink?
Hyakushun Junmai Ginjo Unfiltered Nama-shu Nao Kumi Fraise
Polishing ratio 60%, Mino Nishiki, Sake meter -18
As in the past, it was sweet and tasty, with a berry-like flavor like strawberry. It is still delicious.
Before going to the Kinkasan booth, we decided it was time to get something to eat, so we decided to check out the restaurants that were open at the event.
Since it had been 2 hours, some of them were sold out and some were clearing out, so we didn't have much choice...
We each got in line at different stores, but the one Nemuchi was in line for was sold out halfway through, so we both ended up eating the same thing.
Sake and snacks: Hamo Katsu (pike conger cutlet) at Kurami (I forgot to take a picture)!
It was very tasty 😋!
Drinking Gifu's Local Sake 2024 in Osaka (15)
There is no official website when I googled, and this is the brewery I was most interested in this time. The URL is in the booklet we got, but it doesn't appear...
No brewing company is registered in Sake no Wa either😅...
This is Adachi Sake Brewery's sake!
I wanted to visit first, but it was crowded, so I had to go later, at the end of the day.
We drank
Kinkazan Sokyu Junmai Ginjyo Unfiltered Nama-shu Tatsu
Polishing ratio 55%, Hidahomare, Sake strength 0
It's sweet and tasty, but there are some off-flavors that bother me.
Kinkazan Nakakumi-Junmai Nama-no-Nama-Shu Tatsu
Polishing ratio 60% Hidahomare, Sake meter value +7
Solid taste.
Drinking Gifu's Local Sake 2024 in Osaka⑭
Kusudama which we drank at the Osaka meeting with Mr. Jainobi.
I remember the one we drank at that time was quite fruity.
I think it's a member of the Nihon Meimon Sake Kai, but I've never seen it for sale 🤔.
The one I drank was
Kusudama handmade special junmai
Polishing ratio 60% Hidahomare Sake meter +5
The gentle mouthfeel and acidity left an impression on me.
Kusudama Junmai Daiginjo-Namaekiseki Sake 400th Anniversary Sake
Polishing ratio 50% Hidahomare Sake meter +1
I drank this one when I visited again at the end of the day.
It was a bit ordinary for a junmai daiginjo, I would say.
Not impressive, I would say...
Hello Jay & Nobby ☀☀☀☀.
I thought of the tag that says Kusudama in Nurukan Sato 😁I've heard the name Kusudama for a long time but haven't seen him 😅I wonder where he's hiding 🤔.
Drinking Gifu's Local Sake 2024 in Osaka⑬.
A female castle owner whose name I've heard but never seen
We drank
Enahomare special honjozo hiya-harazake
Polishing ratio 60% Hidahomare Sake meter -5
I think it was recommended to me when I asked "Which one is sweet? I think it was recommended to me when I asked.
I was told it was a sweet sake, but I got the impression it was thicker than sweet.
BOUCHAN Hello 😊
I enjoy reading about Gifu's sake 🍶 I have nostalgia for it 😊 I used to drink a lot before I had a customer in Iwamura I used to go there a lot before it was integrated Iwamura town in Ena county is a country town with a mountain castle 😁.
Hello kan ☀.
I see you had a connection with this sake 😊.
The name Iwamura Brewery comes from the town of Iwamura 😳I learned a lot 🤓.
I would like to visit a town with a mountain castle.
Drinking Gifu's Local Sake 2024 in Osaka ⑫
Enayama is my favorite sake, and I drank some at home a while ago.
I've never seen more than one type of sake on display in a store, so I was looking forward to it!
There was a list of distributors in Kansai on the booth, and I found a liquor store in Osaka that I didn't know at all.
I looked at the installations and found many brands that seem to be rare in the Kansai area😳.
I'll try to visit there soon 😊.
I drank.
Enayama Pure Junmai Daiginjo Shiga Yamadanishiki Lively Nama Sake
Sweet and fruity, similar to cheers!
Enayama Pure Junmai Daiginjo Fukui Gohyakumangoku Youthful
Citrusy? It has a citrus-like flavor and a basic sweetness to it.
Enayama Junmai Ginjo Yamadanishiki
Citrus? Basically sweet with a citrus-like flavor.
I like the taste of this standard sake.
I think I saw this sake sold somewhere 🤔
All the sakes were made with 50% polished rice.
Sake from Gifu is generally strong, but Enayama is light and easy to drink.
Drinking Gifu's Local Sake 2024 in Osaka11
I knew this sake brewery by chance because it is sold by a liquor store in Kobe, but it seems to be a small brewery. This is my first time to drink Fukamori, but I have already had Haruichibanjichi from the same brewery in the past.
They were thinking of closing down the brewery because there was no successor, but a person who runs a liquor store in Nakatsugawa took over the brewery as the brewery's toji.
I drank
Fukamori Junmai Ginjo Nama Shu
Polishing ratio 55%, Gohyakumangoku, Sake meter value +4
Slightly strong, but not too strong (which one is it? 🤣)
Fukamori Junmai Ginjo Unfiltered Nama Sake Betsuatsurai
Polishing ratio 55% Hidahomare Sake meter +4
Dark and tasty, but tasted many different flavors.
Drinking Gifu's Local Sake 2024 in Osaka10
The first brewery I learned about when I saw the outline of this event
I drank
Chikono-iwa Junmai Ginjyo Genshu Sakiori Tanada Rice Brewing
Polishing ratio 50%, Sake degree +6
The rice is called "Sakiori Tanada Rice". The NPO's website states that they grow Minehikari and Koshihikari, so I guess it was one or the other.
I think it had a rich flavor, but it didn't leave much of an impression on me...
Chikono-iwa Junmai Ginjo
Polishing ratio 50%, Gohyakumangoku
The acidity was impressive.
Drinking Gifu's Local Sake 2024 in Osaka ⑨.
This is also the first time to see young leaves
We drank
Wakaba Summer Junmai Nama-nazake
Polishing ratio 60% Asahi no Yume, Hidahomare, Sake degree +3
Strong for a summer sake. Fairly sweet.
Wakaba Oibari Blue label Special Junmai Unfiltered Nama-shu
Polishing ratio 55% Gohyakumangoku Sake meter value +6
Smoky impression was all I got.
Drinking Gifu's Local Sake 2024 in Osaka 8
Kozaemon is one of the major breweries in this tour.
We drank
Junmai Ginjyo Bizen Omachi Orikagarami Nama
Polishing ratio 55%, Sake meter -6
It's like Omachi, but updated 🤣.
Very tasty. A little pineapple.
Re-finish Kojo-shu
Polishing ratio 70% Hidahomare Sake meter -35
Rich sweetness. It is a very good kijo-zake.
I showed him a picture of Honjozo Unfiltered Unrefined Nama Sake, which had a reputation of being a perverted sake, and told him I drank it before drinking this sake, and he said if you like this sake, you will love it 😁.
Drinking Gifu's Local Sake 2024 in Osaka ⑦
I was very much looking forward to this event, as Nemuchi had informed me in advance that the brewery uses all flower yeast 😊.
As a side note, I heard it is Rokkaku Seiji's favorite sake!
Mr. Motofumi Hara, the master brewer of the brewery, was there.
I wondered if the sake was named after the brewery's own name, but the origin of both the brand name and the name was because the brewery's original name when it was founded was Genbun.
It seems that Mr. Kuramoto is a graduate of Tokyo University of Agriculture, where he conducted research on yeast sisin, which is essential for the isolation of flower yeast.
I searched for "Genbun" and found that Mr. Gyave drank it in the past.
I drank
Motobun Hana Yeast Sakura Honjozo
Polishing ratio 70%, Sake degree +4
The aroma is floral (according to Nemuchi-san).
Gentle flavor that is hard to believe it is a honjozo.
Motobun Tsukigashibijin Special Junmai
Polishing ratio 60%, Sake meter value +3
Sweet and delicious!
Motobun Hana Yeast Abelia Junmai Ginjo
Polishing ratio 60%, Sake meter value +2
The most ordinary sake of the bunch.
Motobun Kiku Daiginjo with flower yeast
Polishing ratio 50%, Sake meter value +3
We were talking about how rare it is to have flower yeast from chrysanthemums.
It has a strong umami taste and a thick flavor.
They say it is a local brewery, so it is not sold outside of the prefecture.
Drinking Gifu's Local Sake 2024 in Osaka ⑥.
This is a small brewery with a production of about 80 koku.
I have drunk it a few times because I sometimes find it at Icoma Sake Shop.
The one I drank was
Hanazakari Junmai Daiginjo 39 Yamadanishiki Unfiltered Nama Shuzuku
Hyogo Yamadanishiki, Sake degree +2, 3,700 yen
It's a Junmai Daiginjo, but it's dark and has great flavor!
Hanazakari Junmai Daiginjo 50 Unfiltered Nama Shizuku
Hidahomare, Gohyakumangoku, Sake Brix -6
Similar taste to 39, but sweeter.
I've had a regular unfiltered nama sake in the past that wasn't the SHIZUKU and I thought it tasted quite different 🤔.
Hanazakari Junmai Omachi Unfiltered Nama-shu Shizuku
Polishing ratio 60% Okayama Omachi Sake Brix -5
Sweet and tasty sake with the Omachi character in full bloom.
Nemuchi said it was the best tasting sake, but then it was updated to another sake several times 😁.
Ikoma Sake Shop was also at the event and said Oumachi was delicious. We met a few more times after this and asked for recommendations and not-so-good ones 😊.
Nemuchi-san said it's nice when we agree 😆.
For some reason I felt relieved when we agreed on the "not so good" ones 😇.
Drinking Gifu's Local Sake 2024 in Osaka⑤.
Tsushimaya had a lot of sake that I have had before, so I picked up an Omachi Junmai Daiginjo.
Polishing ratio 50%.
A bottle of sake is 3800 yen, so a four-pack is not that expensive!
As expected, it was sweet, tasty and fruity.
There are a few liquor stores that carry Tsushimaya, but they don't seem to carry it all the time, so you can't buy it when you want it 🤔.
